Because my husband is an ATC, I research products for him to try out, just because I don't want stress induced illnesses to creep upon him. He's always been physically active, mainly weight lifting, but has always had trouble with an elevated cholesterol reading and has ever gotten an HDL reading above 39 until taking Vital Reds. Note that he is also following a diet mainly wild caught fish, (but still has red meat or pork twice a week) one to two large salads daily sweet potatoes (no white starch intake unless it's a special occasion), drinks unsweet black/green tea, black coffee by the pot and also takes Cary Nelson Perfect Biotics. He too supports Dr. Steven Gundry's recommendations.
Point of story, Husbands HDL was 39 and now is 58. It's true that his total cholesterol has a higher reading now but it's only because the "GOOD" HDL cholesterol is now higher, which is a great thing for those who don't know.
Now I have just started him on the Gundry Heart defense supplement and will post a review 90 days out and after getting blood work up done.
P.S. Prebiothrive gave him too much gas. He was told to take 1/2 scoop, but I am putting that one the shelf until I get the results from the Gundry Heart Defense supplement. Note, that the stuff doesn't dissolve well, so I put it into a shaker bottle as illustrated on pamphlet insert.
Also, while online checking for Gundry reviews, I came across a bad website that tries to get you to call a number because your computer has just been infected with a virus.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
