I've had plenty of experience with therapy in the past. I'm quite intimidated by the sanitized, clinical feel of in-person therapy (I'm sure not all therapists are like this but I've clearly had a rotten experience in the past).
BetterHelp, on the other hand, is therapy as I would choose it to be. I am able to interact with a therapist who has been matched to me based on my granular, specific preferences. I am able to choose when and how I communicate with that therapist, I am able to speak with that therapist from the comfort, safety, and privacy of my own home, and my therapist and I are able to track my progress against the goals we have set using supplementary content that is managed and centralized in a great platform. BetterHelp isn't software for software's sake, this is an actual reimagining of what therapy could and should look like.
Pros and Cons:
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
