BetterHelp asks all of the questions that are important to feel secure and heard in the choosing of your counselor, which is a huge deal. Those preferences can mean the difference between being honest and open to your counselor, and being closed and guarded. Not only that, it allows you to change your counselor, no shame added, as you need. It really helps you feel like you are in control, and the understanding of BH that those using the service are in sometimes dire need of that feeling shows the company's integrity.
The quality of the counselors in my experience is very high, and I'm very happy with the one I have been given and have seen so many personal improvements as a result. To be transparent, it took me a few tries to find the one I liked best, but that's typical of any service, especially one so specific and personal.
There are free workshops as well that I've attended and really helped me get new perspectives on things that I could later talk to my counselor about.
I believe everyone needs someone to talk to, get clear advice from, get empathy and respect from, and BetterHelp offers people who can do that, and for a very reasonable price.
