I have only had one session with my matched counselor and am already excited for the next few! BetterHelp asks you a lot of challenging questions at the start and then submits your answers to multiple counselors who eventually reach out and at least one is matched to you. My counselor, so far, shows respect and seems to understand my problems, and is willing to find a solution. At first, I had questions in my mind about the credibility of BetterHelp and wondered if it was serious about its mission, but then my counselor gave me homework the first week and I was surprised and brought to a certain peace. I am excited to continue with BetterHelp and getting to know my counselor a little better!
