I heard about BetterHelp on the Mental Health Happy Hour Podcast. I thought about trying it for a long while before I did. Initially I did not get assigned a therapist that fit my goals, which was disappointing, so I refused that therapist and thought I'd give it one more try - and this time, after a few days, a therapist who fit all my needs appeared. So far, the work has been going well. I love being able to write every day if I want and getting a response within 24 hours. I'm used to the traditional once a week live session, so being able to do written plus video or audio is pretty interesting. Like writing a journal and having a therapist respond to the entries. Fascinating. It's nice that it's all contained in one platform - feels very organized and safe.
