I don’t like facing a stranger with my problems. Traditional therapy felt invasive. An admission of being broken. Over the phone it’s easier for me. She can’t see me and I know that as a therapist she probably wouldn’t judge me but it’s a big fear. Before I never made it to the second appointment. I always felt embarrassed and that I overshared. Now I feel comfortable enough that I’ve kept coming back. I just remember it’s just a call!
