I have been to counseling in the past due to family trauma and I wasn’t sure how well distance counseling would work. However, with BetterHelp, not only did I have the opportunity for video counseling, but having the chance to have phone counseling was much more convenient and actually worked quite well. My counselor was an active listener and asked thought-provoking questions. In between appointments she was very quick to respond to messages which are set and shared on the private BetterHelp app. This extra attention to detail as well as the ease to schedule appointments and the additional privacy that is offered through the app has made BetterHelp a very successful experience for me. The cost for what I received is more than fair and I would definitely recommend BetterHelp to anyone who is struggling in any area of their life.
