    Month 3 and showing improvement!

    Overall Experience:

    I made my appointment on July 25 at a Smile Bus. I had been reading reviews for a time to decide if I wanted to try SmileDirect. Was happy to see on Facebook that a Smile Bus was coming close to our area (Manhattan, KS). The closest Smile Shop would be a 2-hour drive to Wichita, KS.

    I am 69 with some periodontal issues, 4 areas where my gums are receding. I have 6 crowns. They still excepted me for a Smile plan.

    I am in my 3rd month. During that time, I have had one aligner that was not quite right. The Dentist overseeing me had me move on to the next set of aligners. Was pretty sore for a few days but worked fine. My gum issues are no worse. Perhaps a little better with the frequent brushing and flossing.

    I struggled with removing the bottom aligners, especially the third set which is heavier plastic. I finally started reaching inside with the outie tool and lifting up. Then go around the front and lift. Works for me!

    .I'm seeing nice movement of my teeth and can't wait for the final product, straight teeth

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
