Remember that finding the right fit in a counselor or with any type of therapy the first one may not be the right one for you. Don't give up if the first few don't jive with you. Just keep searching until the best one (for you) is found. Having said that, I am so grateful to have met Vanessa Bonaparte (M.ED, NCC, LPC) via BetterHelp. Working with her for the past several months now in weekly sessions has been a joy but also difficult work as self-reflection and talking about myself doesn't come easily for me. During that time she has encouraged, coached, and cajoled me more into alignment with the person I want to be and I am becoming.
