We were very hesitant to sell with Opendoor because 1) this was our first time selling a home, 2) we were new to the concept of Opendoor, and 3) there were a few negative reviews online. We did not have a single issue in the process! We were having a home built and Michael took great care of us. Negative reviews mentioned Opendoor asking for unnecessary repairs and charging a lot. Our home was built 25 years ago and the repairs that Opendoor requested were not only things we knew needed repairs, but they didn't charge anything exorbitant. They are very reasonable if you disagree with repair requests. We contacted them to appeal one of the repairs (we got a second opinion on it) and they promptly amended their repair request. The entire process was so convenient! No showings and we were able to move smoothly into our new home without needing a hotel. We were also able to have a notary come to our home at our convenience to sign closing documents.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
