I bought this not only because my lips are thinning a bit as I age, but they have been drier as well. I spend 10 days working in Las Vegas every April, and can never keep enough lip balm on them - especially in the convention center. I wore City Lips every day with multiple applications and my lips stayed soft, with no drying or signs of chapping. The gloss is a bit more tacky than I prefer, but an easy trade-off for supple lips in the desert.
