Have NEVER counted calories before and rather enjoy the exercise! It’s quite alarming when one realizes that the Chocolate Almond Amore dessert cocktail in Olive Garden is 800 calories. And it’s not that Noom says it’s completely out, only that one has to keep tabs on the caloric contributions of various foods!
And since Noom requires that we walk these steps (requirement keeps increasing too!), I’ve finally started remembering to carry my cellphone with me. That’s an additional lifestyle change. Of course, I spend too much time on the phone now but hopefully, that’ll get less with time. But all the reading we need to do for Noom in addition to steps and logging our calories, promises to make the weight loss permanent! It’s a slow process, but love how Noom stresses that gaining calories takes minutes while losing calories through exercise takes hours.
