I started using Nutra Thrive for my new rescue girl, Luna, about 3 weeks ago. I add a little water to the powder when I put it in her food twice a day. She eats up every speck and licks the bowl!
Luna is a very laid back Lab/Pointer mix. I hope that this powder will keep her healthy for years to come. I have become more interested in the dog's food since our last four dogs developed different kinds of cancer and each had to be put down. Our Chesapeake was only 8 years old. It is very hard to figure out what a healthy diet for a dog consists of because everyone just wants to sell you their product. Right now I am mixing a small amount of good quality kibble with a small amount of canned food, and the Nutra Thrive for her meals. I have only had Luna for 2 months, so can't say I have noticed any changes; she just seems happy and healthy. She also gets some appropriate table scraps, but I want to make sure she doesn't become fat, so I watch her portions.
