Trim Down Club is a scam

By M Weigel , Bismarck, ND

Saw the link on a Bottom Line Health website and video offer intriguing. Just went with the $47 minimum membership thank goodness as the website kept wanting to get you to buy more and more. At the end I was left with a message that transaction completed or has expired. No link back to Trim Down Club, nothing! Of course PayPal transaction recorded right away and now disputing. Don't fall for this con job.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Big changes, ready to reach my goal

By Carol Brighton , Los Angeles, California

When I first started at the Trim Down Club, over a year ago, I could not make head nor tails of the site. I was so lost it took me awhile to get to grips with it. I’ve sent quite a few emails during the time I’ve been there to them. I’ve received help and tips on how to get around the website (some of it a little too detailed) and was even thanked for my feedback. I’ve taken a bit of a break for a couple of months, and have recently rejoined to shed some weight before the up coming summer; it seems to be a whole lot easier this time round which I am glad about. There’s a new homepage, and instead of having to search for everything its right there in front of me. I finally don’t have to reach out to support for help using the website. It is very easy for me and I am excited. I even lost 2 pounds in my first week back.

I am not sure why some people here call it a scam. I know many other members that have found success. Just look at all of the material you get for $47. You have to have realistic expectations. I have learned the hard way that you can't lose all of your fat in a few days. It takes time and you must stay resilient. My number 1 problem was that I am not good with computers. Now this is no longer an issue since the trim down club program became easy to use.

Don't do it!

By Jennifer Hagedon ,

I was charged $47 plus another $67 for some reason! When I try to log on, it doesn't recognize my user I.D. I have sent two emails with no response!

No weight loss in four weeks

By Marcella Willhoite , Houston, TX

At home, I eat very healthy and totally organic foods. My problem is not the foods I'm eating, but the amount. But even with all this very healthy food, my nutrition grade was only about 87%. All I wanted was a way to trim the belly fat without changing my healthy diet. Eating smaller proportions was helpful, but the suggested foods were expensive and not always available at Whole Foods. I had never eaten so many snacks and certainly not drank the recommended 10 glasses of water a day.

With my busy schedule, most of the time it was impossible to stick with the number of meals and snacks per day. My grocery bill skyrocketed from trying to include this wide variety of suggested foods, and at the end of four weeks, my weight is pretty much the same as when I started. A refund would be nice, but I have a feeling that won't happen. I've decided to stick with eating smaller portions and exercise more regularly and see what happens. So, I wouldn't recommend this program to a friend.

Not such a great deal

By Rosie , Scotland

Tried this for a couple weeks and put on six pounds! Far too much food and quite expensive. I don't eat dairy foods but not because I am lactose intolerant but because I don't like the taste so the dairy free diet was of no use to me at all. I spent my money foolishly and don't hold out much hope for a return so think it through carefully and be prepared to be continually asked to buy more "easy to use" diets.

Save your money

By KK , AZ

First thing I noticed after starting the purchase process was that I was required to read and reject several offers that if I didn't purchase "right now" would no longer be available. The actual diet plan in a nutshell is advice to not eat processed foods and only eat natural whole foods. Replace sweets with fruit, eat a lot of vegetables. There are menu examples. I should have known better. What a waste of money. I can lose weight on my own. I guess I was looking for a way to make it easier, and this would not be it. First of all, their promise is that everyone is the same. I cannot lose weight on their plan because it is twice the amount of calories in one day that I need to reduce to in order to lose weight.

after 4 weeks

By Betty Brown , Texas

I have enjoyed the news about blood sugar control, not new to an R.N. The main problem that disappoints me after 4 weeks is that each article I listen to ends up with the sales pitch to buy some bottle of pills or a product, This I find totally not appropriate and I feel I have paid my $47, for nothing but a bunch of advertising, that my time is wasted and my money. I am being taken advantage of and this is only a forum for advertising.

You get what you put into it

By Reba , Montana

Actually this isn't new information it is just put together in such a way that it is easy to follow and for the very first time in my 66 years there is a way of eating that I can stick to and never feel hungry or have carvings. Yes the sales stuff is a bit annoying, but for just $47 for life time membership they have to make a buck somewhere.

I am loosing weight and feel so much better. I sleep better at night and some of my chronic symptoms are starting to resolve after only two week of following the food plan. Plus the video of choosing food in the super market was very well done and helpful. I think those who didn't like the club just want quick fixes and aren't willing to make the changes.

Unbelievable

By David Meadows , Barry, Wales

Since joining the club I have been inundated with mails claiming the latest new discovery, a video clip to watch full of sales pitch and ALWAYS some brilliant new supplement to buy at the end of it! I am quietly loosing the will to live. If their medical science is so far advanced why is it that there is an ever new discovery... UNBELIEVABLE

Won't refund me my money

By Sabine , Great Britain

Hi there. If you ever think of joining the trim down club - don't do it. I joint only to find out that the meals are rubbish and as I asked the next day for my money to be refunded they told me that I had to do this by phone. I send them another text telling them that I was living in Great Britain and that this would be very expensive and that there terms and conditions stated that I could cancel within my 60 days by dropping them a line. Still haven't had my money refunded. Think twice before joining
