I would recommend The Black Tux to all my friends and will use it for my own wedding someday. My suit fit great, it arrived on time, the instructions were clear, and it was so easy and hassle-free. Also, their customer service was INCREDIBLE. Thank you to the CSR I spoke with, Storm, because she treated me like a caring person and not just a number. My friend chose The Black Tux as the suit provider for his wedding party. As a woman who wears masculine clothing, I was worried about the fit of the suite not "working" for my body type. After one round of sending the suit back for another size, the fit was fantastic and we all looked sharp. My suit arrived exactly on schedule, which i knew would happen because BlackTux sent the tracking code for the package. Everything fit great. The suit was of very high quality. I usually wear J Crew, Brooks Brothers, and Hugo Boss and it seemed to be in line with the J Crew Italian wool suits. The shoes were a little big, but better too big than too small. No belt, but that was fine. Free socks were a nice touch. Then to just throw it all back in a box and leave it at the front desk of the hotel to mail - totally easy. I don't rent suits often, but I would highly recommend this if you need everyone to look the same, or maybe look better than they would if they picked their own outfit!

I first chose The Black Tux when I was a groomsman in my friend Jeff's wedding. I wore that suit and felt like James Bond. During that day, I was texting the girl who became my wife on September 1, 2018. I sent her the picture of me in that tux and knocked her off her feet. Needless to say, I wouldn't choose any other company, and I was not disappointed. My pictures all turned out incredible, and I am happy to send links (we had a great photographer and the pictures are really fun). I was referred to The Black Tux by a friend for my daughter's wedding. I own a tux but didn't want to wear my classic black tuxedo and I didn't want to purchase a new tuxedo for what I considered would be a one time use. The wedding party was wearing navy blue suits, so I selected a midnight blue tuxedo. It showed up and the 42' coat was a little small so I contacted them and they sent out a 44' coat. The sleeves were a little long on the 44' and they gave me the option of sending it back to have them tailor it or to tailor it here locally. I had the sleeves shortened an inch locally and the tuxedo fit perfectly.

I received a ton of compliments on the tux at the reception and the wedding. I simply put it back in the box it came in and mailed it back two days after the wedding. Great experience and will definitely use The Black Tux again!

Prefacing this, I am an event planner but this was for my own wedding! This is not an ad nor is there any incentive for me to post this, just thought I would share.

I had my wedding in mid-September. My husband had 12 groomsmen - a bug group of goofballs! They all ordered their tuxes - the site made it SO easy! I clicked what I wanted then just entered their emails. They got an email and all they had to do was follow the measurement prompts and pay. It was so easy, I was actually nervous something was wrong! Two weeks before the wedding the tuxes came in. Some were a little off, and some were perfect. The ones that were a little off, the groomsmen easily sent back with their comments (with the provided mailing label), and a new one was overnighted to them. IT WAS SO EASY!

Side note - the ties I picked for them came in a different color than I was expecting and I hated them. I reached out to the black tux, and they overnighted me 12 new ones - they’re AMAZING!

The day of the wedding came, and this group if 12 goofy misfit groomsmen looked SO FREAKING GOOD!

The suits fit so great and they looked so polished!

I can't recommend this company/service any higher!

Overall, the suit fit nice. It was a pretty good experience getting the suit and just letting it guess the measurements worked out well. However, the biggest downfall was that the suit was ridiculously wrinkled! Thankfully someone had a steamer, but all the groomsmen and groom had to steam their suits the day of the wedding, which was not convenient.

I used The Black Tux for a suit for my daughter's wedding at her recommendation. The experience was wonderful. It was easy to pick your sizes, and the clothing came on time as stated. I had a couple of pieces that were not the right size, and it was easy to return them and get new sizes. After the event was over, I just put everything in the box and shipped it back! Very easy. Quality clothing. They also sent me a replacement pair of shoes when the ones I first received came with black scuff marks on them in several spots. Very good experience.

The suits were beautiful and looked so perfect for my daughter's wedding. Fabulous! The fit is so much better than other rental places - pants were great, and the shirt made me feel like a million. Receiving the rental at home rather than picking it up is wonderful. Getting the rental 14 days prior is phenomenal. Having three days afterward to return the rental is a luxury. Returning it in the same box without going into a store is a treat.

The Midnight Blue Shawl Tux looked nice in pictures but was even more impressive on the groomsmen. It stood up all day from 2 pm to midnight. Everyone wanted to snap a picture of them. One person even commented that they looked good enough to be in a photo shoot. Just as important was the Fit Guarantee and the ease in returning the merchandise even though one person "accidentally" threw his box away. The customer service worked above and beyond the call of duty to make the wedding a success. So who says that it's just the bridesmaids who rock? Groomsmen now have a way to level the male-glam playing field with a modern design look at an affordable price with "The Black Tux."

I rented five tuxedos, totaling over $900, for my wedding. Several groomsmen were traveling from out of state or country, so they shipped their tuxedos to my address. The Black Tux mistakenly sent two tuxes of my size. I was, therefore, one tuxedo short for my groomsmen, with the missing tux being for one groomsman who is significantly larger than me. There was no way for him to fit in a slim fit tux my size. This was not a small mistake. My groomsman has 100 lbs on me. He was fit by a professional tailor and input his measurements correctly into The Black Tux site. We called The Black Tux, but they said they could not help with short notice, even though the mistake was theirs by their own admission.

We scrambled to rent a tuxedo right before the wedding. Fortunately, we eventually found one. However, we could not find a perfect match for our Black Tux tuxedos. The replacement was more expensive than The Black Tux tuxedo. So now I spent more than $1100 on tuxedos for my wedding, and we didn't even match thanks to The Black Ttux.

After the wedding, I finally got in touch with a manager at The Black Tux after several failed attempts. I asked The Black Tux to refund the extra cost of the more expensive replacement tux ($200 vs. $132 at the black tux). The Black Tux refused. Clyde and Kevin at The Black Tux customer support admitted fault, but were unwilling to make this problem caused by The Black Tux right.

In an attempt to appease me, Clyde and Kevin did offer me a promo code, as if I would ever use this company again. I would not recommend using The Black Tux to anyone for any reason. Their employees are clearly incompetent on several levels. They do not care about their customers. They will not correct their own mistakes. If you need a nice tuxedo for an important event, I would strongly suggest looking somewhere else.
