Terrible customer service!

By Ann S., Bloomington, IN, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the deluxe TAPfit unit on November 22nd of last year, when I open the package, the tap shoes they sent were a size small, when I know I ordered a large. I did get a return code, after repeated emails to do so. I asked them also to send a return label, because it wasn’t my fault on the wrong size - no answer. I took it to UPS and had to pay an additional $14 out of my own pocket, and did so on December 4th.

I have not received any return taps, and am uncertain which size, M or L, will fit an 8 and 1/2 shoe, since I read different info on the website. So I finally found a customer service #, and have called twice and left info with an answering service, last week and 3 days ago, and was promised a call back in 24 hours. Not to be. I was so excited about this program, and so upset about the fraudulent manner they handle their visit. From the reviews, I am not the only one. Please rectify this issue please, TAPfit!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Update

By Carol S., Bethlehem, PA, Verified Reviewer

12/9/20 - TAPfit finally came through with a refund, $144. So I am out $49, which still a better outcome than I expected. Just be aware that it is extremely difficult to contact this company when there is a problem.

It's great to tap again!

By Katherine B., Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I haven't tap danced since I was in my 20s, but now that I'm in my 30s and have moved to a small town, it is great to be able to tap again, especially since I can do so in my own home. The mat works great so that I don't ruin my floors! The videos are easy to follow along with.

Non-responsive when issues arise

By Carla K., Washington DC, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the TAPfit kit in mid-July, for medical reasons I could not use the program and I contacted the company by email (they have NO phone contact). I received an RMA (return approval). I packed in its original packaging, it was unused. It is now 10/30/2020, and after several attempts to reach them via email, my PayPal account has never received the refund. As a company that promotes a pro-woman image, they are very active in cheating women.

Starting a new journey with my life and health

By Donna T., Cincinnati, OH, Verified Reviewer

It took a while to get my order straight and get it off in the mail to me. Jasmine was a great help and she got the job done. I really appreciate the time she took to help me so that I can get started on my new journey.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Pros and Cons

Can go at my own pace

Fun and gets me moving

In the privacy of my own home, so no one judges me

Hard to find the right shoes, have issues with my feet, I usually wear men’s shoes instead of women’s shoes so they’re not so tight across toes

Fun time = fitness

By Deborah S., Aurora, IL, Verified Reviewer

I have known about TAPfit for many years but the price was a little steep. But there was a 50% sale so I decided why not, I have tap danced since I was 8 years old and loved it. Although this is my first week so far it has helped me make better food choices and want to move more.

During our new normal times, I have found myself lounging more and moving less. Since I have done all of the other pandemic things like learn to cook better food and clean out my house, spending more time with my pup, fitness was next on the list. So far it's been a great distraction. Why not look great for when I can socialize again?

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Tap dance

Slow instructions

Great music

Supportive emails

Must buy expensive package to receive the best results

Not just having a master the basics class

Starting a challenge before you receive your equipment

Finally, exercise I want to do!

By Mary B., Portsmouth, VA, Verified Reviewer

I have tried many styles of workouts through the years, but none of them jived with me. I used to jokingly say, “I’m allergic to exercise,” lol. But then the pandemic and lockdown happened, and I put on 15lbs. Yikes!

When I first encountered the TAPfit ad on Facebook, I was very intrigued and also highly motivated to lose the weight I put on. Soooo I decided to give it a shot!

When my slip-on taps and DVDs arrived, I immediately put the first disc in. Right off the bat, I was greeted by the warm and genuine Kat Johnson. The steps were very easy to learn!

Then it was time for the warm-up and tutorial. Everything is broken down step by step so you can really take your time to learn each move. The music for the routines is very catchy and I’ve actually added them to my playlist favorites so I can tap in my head when I’m listening to the songs.

I’ve been doing TAPfit for over 6 months now, 3-6 times per week. I have never gotten bored and I never felt like this was something I couldn’t achieve. If the queen of clumsy (aka me, lol) can do it, YOU CAN DO IT.

I’ve also been using TAPfit’s nutrition supplement line - specifically, Green Boost, which is chock full of 10 superfoods, boosts your metabolism, and strengthens your immune system.

Overall, I’m SO happy I jumped out of my comfort zone to try TAPfit. It has forever changed my attitude about exercise. It CAN be fun!

Also, it has helped my anxiety and depression immensely. As I like to say, "tap it out!" Tap out alllllll the stress, all the negative thoughts, worries, frustrations, and just let loose. After each workout, even if I’m going into it anxious or even a little tired, I always feel like a weight has been lifted and I even feel more energized!

A BIG thank you to the Johnson sisters for making a dance exercise program that literally anyone can do - even in a seated position.

I’m a TAPfit warrior for life!

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Making music with my body

The mental workout

The positivity

The celebrity choreography is a bit fast, but I just remind myself to take my time and baby steps are still progress

I wish the DVDs had chapters and an easier home menu

The DVD case is not the most secure (discs slip off their holder)
