I am a very happy new TAPfit member!
I have taken all of the beginner workouts for weeks 1-4. They have been very well taught by excellent and enthusiastic teachers. Each workout out is simple, easy to do, and fun with music and constant guidance by the teacher. All routines can be done easily by anyone regardless of your age (I am 80 and had no problems). If you have never tapped before the steps are very simple and anyone can do them. Come join the group. You will love it.

The workouts are fun while you are learning and nit dull and dry
The ony thing that could make it better would be to do the workouts face to facee

I used to tap dance when I was growing up, but it's been over 25 years. I've been very sedentary during the pandemic, but I'm so glad I decided to go for TAPfit. The first few weeks were a little slow technique-wise, but that turned out to be a good thing as I am still getting back into condition. By week 5 I was really loving it and now I'm on week 6 and exploring the online component and it just keeps getting better!

Pros and Cons
Customer service
Progressive lessons and exercises
Good entry back to dancing
Some video editing could be improved
High price entry to get to the fun stuff
Moves to online only - would be great to continue with physical DVDs

I'm 59, but I'm very tech-savvy, I feel I must stress that first. The program arrives with DVDs. Hardly anyone uses DVDs anymore. You can find the program online, but it's not that easy to find and access. They should be blasting the link everywhere on the website and in the literature.
Secondly, I'm a career woman and travel for work. Exercising during business travel is a chronic and widespread issue. (Again, see the above...you have to be able to access it anywhere.) As much as one would like, not many people are going to make this program their religion and are not going to be able to commit as much time as the follow-up emails seem to believe we have. Getting an email congratulating me on being on week 2, 3, 4 when I'm still working on week one is discouraging, annoying, and also makes you feel like the company is just generating customer emails based on ticklers set according to purchase date. Don't bother, it's phony and incorrect, which makes me doubt your integrity and authenticity. You're better off not emailing at all and adopting a "let us know if you need anything" approach.
I think this is a fun activity. I didn't for one minute think it was going to get me in great shape because if it was the miracle program for that, I wouldn't have found it on an IG post. Know your role and your spot and be proud of that. It's sort-of, kind-of tap dancing, which is FUN and could get women like me (older, out of shape with back and knee problems) moving more. Embrace that.
Quit sending us emails congratulating us on something we haven't accomplished and making us feel like slackers. If I recommended this to a friend, I'd include a lot of caveats.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Pros and Cons
No “pros” were specified in this review
Inauthentic emails pretending to know how I'm using it
Should be marketed for online use and not rely on DVDs that I just threw away

I have always loved dancing. And when I saw TAPfit advertised I knew it would be a great way for me to get into shape while having a lot of fun! I tap-danced as a child and TAPfit provides a good refresher course for tap dancing that is doable and relatively inexpensive. I’m so glad I joined!

I am a new TAPfit follower and so far I have really loved the experience! I'm 71 years old and have some knee issues, so exercising was difficult for me. I loved to square dance before Covid so I thought maybe TAPfit would work for me and it really has been a way to get myself up off the couch and moving!
I love the 28-day quick-start program that I used while I was waiting for my shoes and dance floors to come. And I'm still working on that. I had an issue and I got some immediate positive help and feedback which says more than anything to me. I do think the price is a little expensive, but at this point, I feel like it's been worth it because I am up off the couch, I'm excited about doing the workouts every day, and I just feel more positive and engaged in life!
Give it a try. It's a wonderful and encouraging system.

I joined TAPfit because I wanted to improve the strength, flexibility, range of motion, and persistent swelling in the ankle I had sprained badly a year ago. I have gotten all of this, plus overall strength and toning of my core. I also have improved the balance I didn't know I didn't have. I get to have fun with a group in the comfort of my home. I get to learn new skills and new rhythms, and get back to the joy of dancing!
Length of Use: 3–6 months
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
