Sono Bello Reviews - Is It Really Effective?

I had the procedure to remove fat from my back and waist. There is no difference, my before picture looks better than my after picture. I am so devastated, and I cried for days. I was told that I might need to get more surgery, that statement hurt.

When people spend a decent amount of money, they expect a good response in return. Unfortunately, I personally didn't get that vibe. For example, if you have to reschedule your appointment, it was such a struggle, you will be on hold for the longest time, and when picked up, you were told someone will call you back. Unfortunately, you will be forgotten and that someone becomes no one. That was just one example; I had many unpleasant experiences.

But I experienced something totally different in my last visit. I was running late and I called the office to notify. I hear Jasmine Pratt behind the desk secretary who was very pleasant to me. She called me back in a few minutes and told me that the doctor is willing to wait for you so please drive safe.

Long story short, that one call back made a difference in my that visit. Sono Bello finally found Jasmine Pratt to be that person. I hope she will continue to do her job the best way she does. Sometimes you really need the right person for the right job. And thank you, Jasmine Pratt, for making a patient comfortable.

From consultation to pre-op, to the day of the procedure, the staff and doctors were absolutely wonderful! I never had to wonder what was next or what my results would be...they explained and set the expectations perfectly. I have already referred Jessica and Doctor King out to a lot of friends and coworkers! Highly recommend!

I chose Sono Bello after many years of frustration with my shape and weight control. I have always been just a little overweight. Always seeing myself as needing more work or improvement.

I have two sessions, first across my back and underarms. Then followed with the abdomen. I will say the procedure is one day and your recovery process is definitely individual to you. Listen to your body and you will like your results. I do believe Sono Bello was able to take away that fat little me from way long ago. I feel wonderful.

I chose to come in to learn more about Sono Bello because I am getting married soon. So far the process has exceeded my expectations. Recovery time minimal and the discomfort during the procedure was minimal. The staff members are highly educated and so kind and professional. I have struggled with weight around my midsection for years. Diet and exercise just did not work. I took a chance and scheduled an appointment with Sono Bello. I was blown away with their customer service from my initial phone call and then post procedure. I am two months out and have gone from a size 18 women to a size 14 regular. I never dreamed I could get such great results. Note, I have done this without exercise. I do plan on starting back on my exercise program which I feel will enhance my results. My physician was Dr. James Lowe and he took the time to answer all my questions and did a very detailed exam during my initial consultation. Give it a try, you won't be sorry!

11/6/2017 - I had read a number of Yelp reviews and hesitated to book a consultation at Sono Bello because of some poorly rated ones. Yet, Sono Bello had a special whereby you could have one liposuction treatment area done for free when you paid for 3 other areas, so I decided to see for myself. I was completely "sold" after my consultation with Nicole Bradshaw, the practice leader. I didn't experience her as a salesperson, however, I experienced her as someone who sincerely cared, and offered a solution to a problem, so to speak.

I eat modestly, have no processed foods of any kind in my diet, work closely with a nutritionist and exercise most days of the a week. Yet, I had some areas of extra fat that I clearly could not have reduced or removed with diet and exercise alone; one of which was there since I was a child. I trusted Nicole intuitively and sensed that she would oversee my experience to ensure it was a positive one. My intuition has served me very well. Nicole has really extended herself to me and has spent a fair amount of time on the phone and in person at the clinic every step of the way.

I am just shy of the 3-week mark post op and the recovery was easier than I feared. I wouldn't characterize it as easy, but definitely do-able. I didn't take any narcotics after the procedure, and after the first week, I started to feel much more comfortable. Since I am considerably less inflamed and swollen at this point, I can already see some results, and am quite pleased overall. There may be some areas that Dr. Malin "touches up" complimentary with an additional treatment in 6 months, which is one of the reasons I chose Sono Bello. They will ensure that the final results are as anticipated and hoped for, within reason, of course. I had feedback to offer Nicole about what I think could have improved my experience in a couple of ways and she was very receptive.

I think every staff member sincerely cares, and I have felt well supported. I know that they've celebrated in my results so far as well. I am very excited to see where I will be at the 3-month mark post op and may add to my review at that point. I only wish I had done this sooner. I had considered it for years! My inclination was to keep this experience private, and not to write a public review, however, I really wanted others who may hesitate due to some of the poor reviews, to read mine. I definitely would recommend that anyone who has interest to schedule a consultation and see for themselves before they are scared off by some of the 1-star reviews.

I also wanted to add, please keep in mind that poor reviews don't necessarily reveal the whole story, and Sono Bello can't offer a "rebuttal" or share their perspective because of their commitment to patient privacy. Also, there are a number of hidden reviews on Yelp that helped me decide to have a consultation.

8/8/2018 - I wanted to write an update on my first review since I've now not only had liposuction twice, but experienced the Venus treatments and have had a Sono Bello Lift as well. I have transformed in ways that has left me so much more comfortable and confident in my own skin, and I am so deeply appreciative to all the staff and physicians at Sono Bello. As a repeat customer many times over now, I continue to be extremely pleased with my overall experience. There have been a few concerns that have come up for me, but Candace Loyd who now oversees the clinic has ensured that they were all addressed in a way I am satisfied with. In addition, she has taken the time to support my recovery every step of the way. I have really appreciated her sincere care about my experience, and her desire for me to have a positive one.

I think both Dr. Malin who performed my liposuction and Dr. Campanelli who performed my Lift are very skilled, kind and supportive and I appreciate the care I've received from each of them. Ellisha Leal, who administers the Venus treatments, advocated for me to have it done on my stomach, as well as neck and arms, post liposuction, and I am so happy I added my stomach to the lineup. We've seen very clear results, as my skin is much more toned and firm than the liposuction alone resulted in. I recommend her as a skilled and supportive practitioner as well.

The staff at Sono Bello of Portland have really extended themselves to me in so many ways and I continue to recommend the clinic wholeheartedly. I really look forward to my visits as I truly love to connect with the very warm and friendly staff.

Overall I was a little apprehensive about the procedure done, but after I talked with the nurse and the doctor, I was more relaxed and informed. I was more comfortable and encouraged to complete the procedure. So now my wife and daughter have had something done at their clinic.
