When I started this process with Rocket Mortgage, I did not know what to expect. You see the commercials and you think...is this hype just to get my business. Well, I'm here to say that it is not hype. This summer my wife and I decided to move from our current home and put it on the market. So I went on Rocket Mortgage and went through the loan qualification process, and we were approved for the amount we wanted almost instantly. With that, we waited until we listed our home. Well, our house sold faster than we expected. So we had to scramble and find something right away. We did and really wanted the place, but the seller wanted to close quickly...less than 30 days. We were concerned because our realtor said that typically does not happen. Well, surprise, surprise, it did. The personnel at Quicken Loans was very helpful and knowledgeable and moved the process right through, and we closed within the 30 days that the seller had requested. We do not think this would be possible without the assistance of the Quicken Loan reps. Thank you!

I was a little reluctant to refinance my home with Rocket Mortgage. Then after I started the process, I was going to back out. But then I talked to Christine McIntyre and she explained everything to me and answered all my questions. She was very helpful. Very nice lady! We have closed on my mortgage and I am very happy with the results. Thank you.

I started working with Quicken mid-summer and was immediately offered fair and competitive terms. Shortly after starting the process, I was contacted by another mortgage lender who made promises, in writing, that they would beat Quicken's deal. I was lured away and spend over two months working with that other company. In short, they tried and failed to bait and switch me. Unfortunately, I had wasted so much time that my original rate lock ended with Quicken. Undeterred, our mortgage broker Jason went to work and set us up with another fair and competitive package even though rates had gone up significantly. Throughout the process, Jason was attentive to our need for information and NEVER failed to come through on a promise.

In an industry that seems filled with half-truths and broken promises, Jason and Quicken showed a level of integrity and customer service that, in my opinion and experience, is unparalleled. Quicken's web portal is intuitive and easy to use. The ability to message someone at just about any time of the day and get a specific response, as opposed to a canned and unhelpful answer, is gratifying and only serves to increase confidence in the process we move through towards closing.

In short, I would happily recommend Quicken and use them again given the opportunity.

It was great working with Rocket Mortgage. They keep the process simple and efficient. Moreover, they do a great job of communicating how the process is moving along. We made several adjustments to the plan, as we moved along, assuring that I received the best deal I could get.

This is my second mortgage with Rocket Loans, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I got pre-approved by several lenders, and I decided not to use them until after going through the entire pre-approval process. Their service was ok, their product was awful. The rates were competitive, but the fees were at least 300% more than the next guy. I had to really inquire to figure out why my mortgage with them would be $100+ per month for 30 years to figure it out and they were non-committal on answering why.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My refinance was lightning fast, oh my gosh! I didn't expect how quick from start to finish this was going to be. These guys and gals are right on top of their game as long as you as the borrower are too. Get organized with all of your paperwork and the process will fly by.

Our experience with Quicken Loan and Rocket Mortgage was awesome. We had no difficulty through it all. The process was smooth and very efficient. We were kept informed and updated about documents needed and what was worked in. We would never go with another lender again. Everyone worked with us in a timely manner. AMAZING EXPERIENCE as home buying in itself is a stressful time. I would most definitely use Rocket Mortgage again for the next house.

Mary Musick was extremely helpful throughout this hectic process. She was always available by phone or email at crazy hours and showed genuine concern for my wife and I as we sold our first home and purchased a new one.

This was by far the best mortgage process ever. Britney and Kayla were excellent. I was able to keep track of the process real time and to determine the status. I will definitely recommend Rocket Mortgage as the preferred lender of choice.

The process was quick, easy, and painless. From the time I applied all the way to closing, everyone was very pleasant and professional. I am just sorry I waited so long to refinance. I should have done it sooner.

Overall it went smooth. I wish things were explained a little better. I felt I was being pushed around and treated like a dummy, it was then that I did some research on my own on proper terms and meanings. The next time I was contacted I spoke with authority and knowledge, and the backpedaling began. Then I was treated like an equivalent person. Once I was moved to the final stages, I was transferred to a different agent who again didn’t seem to want to explain things. At this point, I no longer cared. So to improve your services, I would assume they are paid commission on loans, to pay them for their time and not to mass approve loans. Explain things better and show a detailed list of the “other” charges on the loan documents.
