Our closing documents indicated that Rocket Mortgage will send us a check to pay my property taxes. I called Rocket Mortgage to ask how that works. I was told that Rocket Mortgage will pay our property taxes directly without us being involved. I had to reschedule our closing twice because of this. My sex was wrong on one of the closing documents. We weren't told that we wouldn't be signing our closing documents electronically with our 3rd rescheduling of our closing.

The entire experience was horrible. There was an extreme lack of communication, and if there was any, it was me who initiated the conversation. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman who was passing me off from person to person. I never knew who was in charge of my loan or who my main contact person was and when I did contact I kept being told that person wasn't the one who could answer and to keep checking the dashboard. The dashboard was great for information but there is a personal aspect that is expected while dealing with a refinance. The whole process took 2.5 months and no one could ever explain to me why things kept getting drug out. Then my wife was added to the loan but no one told us that she was being added or even asked us or explained to us why she was being added. When they asked to run her credit they said it was a requirement due to the state we lived in and the next thing we knew we were being sent documents to sign that included her on the loan. I have no trust with this company and have serious concerns that if I do have any issues that they will be resolved. I seriously regret ever working with Quicken Loans.

All staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. The ability to sign documents online was very helpful in expediting the process. Online guidance and directions were very helpful. Being reminded of what to do next was comforting.

Easy, fast, and painless. From beginning to end Rocket made the refinance process so easy. I would definitely recommend and/or use them again. They have a customer for life.

Rocket Mortgage made our second refi experience a pleasant and financially rewarding event. The process was nearly transparent to us and yet every aspect was completely visible on-demand via their website when we wanted to see the status.

I started a refi with Quicken and was approved on my first call (the current mortgage was with Quicken). For the first week after approval, there was good follow-up. After that didn’t hear another thing. Finally, during the 4th week, I called and tried to reach someone. I had to leave a message, after a couple of days I did get a call back. NOW he tells me they ran into a small issue and are working their way through it. It would have been nice if they would have kept me informed as this process proceeded and not left me in the dark.

The start of the process was wonderful, would have been five stars. We had to keep reaching out to keep the loan moving forward, if we weren't checking in daily I don't think the loan would have been finalized yet. Six months to refinance is a long period of time. Even the First Lady we were working with said the loan should have been done a long time before then. The fact we had to submit the same documents 4-5 times because the closing hadn't gone through and they weren't able to use those documents anymore because it had been too long. The closing was a little awkward.

I was unaware and so missed out on the cyber Monday refinance deal. My loan originator was unable to offer the deal to me. Other than that it was an easy process and very easy to work with.
