I ordered for the first time from Piping Rock in January of 2017; it is a product that is of great help to me. I wanted to order more today, March 12th, and while checking out on the website, I tried to order with my credit card number, however, Piping Rock had my ATM card on file that was a "link" and would not allow a change to another credit card. The only other option was PP, which I do not use.
Here's what's curious: I've changed banks back in November of 2017 and therefore am alarmed that Piping Rock has my NEW ATM card number. Their online chat rep upon questioning kept skirting the issue, ie., was unable to give a straight answer as to why they had my NEW ATM card number from NEW bank, why I could not change credit cards to pay for the purchase, and why I could not cancel the order without their involvement.
I cross-examined their online chat rep who after going around and around in circles never did give a straight answer, but my ATM card number remains on their system. What kind of business practices are these? Any other merchant does not send a purchase to a bank or credit card in a NANOSECOND and/or after email confirmation of the purchase. Something doesn't add up here...
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
