I wouldn't expect my story to be typical. Cayenne is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu neutered male. He developed an eating disorder after I relocated back to Miami for my job. After several visits to my vet (his original doctor), he ruled out any worms or intestinal disorder. I now poach chicken hearts or gizzards in chicken stock (I was a chef) and sprinkle and mix the powder over the cooled parts. Cayenne eats it right up, he usually is very suspicious about anything foreign about his feed. He has normally eaten Royal Canin breed specific for Shih Tzu for years, but stopped after our move. I leave a bowl out for him and occasionally he will finish it, but he will not touch it if I sprinkle the Nutra Thrive over even if I mix it with water or chicken stock. So I just stick with a once-daily portion of treated cooked chicken. He definitely acts more alert and frisky now and I am much relieved that he is getting proper nutrition. He never lost weight, even at the height of his food aversion, but his activity level was down. Not so after regularly being on Nutra Thrive. Nobody believes he actually is 8 years old.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
