Before I could finish my first bottle, I started feeling fatigued. I felt so weak that I even told my daughter-in-law "I feel like I'm dying," and I did. I finally went to my primary care physician who ordered blood tests. When I heard from him the following Friday, he told me to go to the emergency room. Of course, I did, not knowing what the tests read. They examined me, of course, and contacted my doctor. He said, to them, my a1c was 12.6. They took my glucose level, and it was over 400.
Now, before all of this took place, two years before I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I was careful about what I ate; but, the BIO X4 curbed my appetite. So much so that I wasn't eating much of anything at all. So, saying this, I would recommend that anyone with pre-diabetes, please, check with your doctor first.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
