I decided on the spur of the moment New Year's Eve to join as I knew I needed a plan for 2019 to lose the weight I recently lost. My focus, my physical condition were both fragile and easily thrown off track. I was taking pain medication every day just to make it through and my exercise regime was out the window.
I had identified Weight Watchers as I have done the program before and got to Lifetime status. I just couldn't seem to get enough energy to attend meetings and have someone else weigh me.
When I saw commercials for Noom, I thought this seems similar and I can do it from my phone, sign me up.
I can say that reading the different learning material has been good quality and helpful. The only thing I do not like is all the abbreviations that are referenced later. I cannot remember the letters and had to go back to figure out what they meant which was frustrating. Some of it I already knew, but this provided more detail and practical steps.
The group texts are ok so far, I have been a light participator so far but plan to continue even though I have not felt any connection yet. I think it is hard to feel part of the group via chat than in person, at least for me.
The bottom line is in the 30 days, if have lost 12 lbs and have a stronger sense of purpose and goal with hope to take off the other 50. I do love that every day I have new material to read, and steps to take.
I plan to see this through the 8 months projected and hope to regain the confidence and success I once felt.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
