It is working

I like Noom. It is working for me. The ideas and psychology get me thinking. The way the food is divided into colors helps. I will admit that I don't do all that I am supposed to. But I do try everything first before deciding what works for me. My coach and my mentor are great with suggestions and keep me positive.

The only problems I have had have been entering food that there is no way of finding on the list. And when I fill in the blanks for the pop quizzes the answers disappear.

I like the group thing. It's nice to have others backing you up.

Life changing

This has been this best thing I’ve ever did in my life! I’ve lost 17 lbs in 5 weeks! It’s completely changed my life! I have never been happier! My clothes fit better. I sleep better. I can do things without being out of breath. And I’m not stopping! THANK YOU, NOOM!

Easier than you think

It sounds like a cliche, but I’ve tried almost everything to lose weight all my life. My friend urged me to join Noom over holidays and I was reluctant but agreed. I thought it was just another thing I’d try and fail, again. Then I realized that I could eventually lose weight, but this time, I’m thinking about leading my life healthier. No deprivation of food I like, maybe some modifications were done in my grocery list, but I like my new way of doing everything to feel healthier. I’ve lost so far 3-4 lbs since I started, but I’m back in the gym, enjoying food I eat and sleep better (because I’m strongly suggested to prioritize sleep!). I’m not paranoid about losing weight anymore because I truly feel better. The weight I’ve lost is just a bonus!

Amazing life change

I've been using Noom for about 6 weeks now. It really is an amazing tool for changing your life. It is challenging the way I think about food, the way I eat, and the way I tackle weight loss. I've been a yo-yo dieter, but nothing has ever stuck. I like that Noom is giving me a new way to approach food without feeling deprived. The coaches really challenge you to think outside of the box and are incredibly encouraging. The support group is all about helping each other. I've lost 16 lbs and 4 inches. I've gained confidence in myself. I would highly recommend Noom to anyone ready to make a change in their life.

Learn it, believe it, live it!

I started Noom with very little expectations. I have tried so many other diets, products, and programs with very little success. I have never felt confident in any past programs and have always felt like I was on a diet. Noom has helped me change my relationship with food. Noom uses psychology and facts to help me learn about food, cravings, activity level, and so much more. I don’t feel like I am on a diet, I feel like I have made a significant lifestyle change. At this time in the Noom program, I have not lost a significant about of weight, but I have had so many other positive changes including requiring less daily insulin injections (I am a diabetic), eating right, increasing physical activity, and taming my food cravings. I am very glad I took a chance and started Noom!

It's working

What I love about Noom is that they are helping me develop the knowledge and psychology to change my eating habits so that I will be able to sustain the weight loss. I've lost weight before - with Weight Watchers, but they were terrible at helping me with maintenance, so I gained it back and more. Noom is actually teaching me how to make conscious choices that I CAN live with and not feel deprived and be happy! I'm losing weight slow and steady and believe that I will be able to maintain these choices. Thank you Noom.

This program WORKS for my life!

The last time I successfully lost weight, I was a single gal, no kids, and could cook all sorts of crazy "diet food" for myself. That is NOT my reality today. I have two school-aged kids who like things like pizza and mac'n'cheese, and a hubby who does half the cooking (and likes to indulge our kids' tastes). I needed something simple, with simple ways of tracking food and calories, and no "forbidden" foods or overly restrictive diets. I'm hard pressed to say which I like better: the fact that the app makes it SO EASY to track what I'm eating, or the fact that NOTHING is off-limits, or the fact that this program has taught me to make healthier choices 24/7! My habits were pretty healthy before Noom, but this program has really helped me fine-tune my moment-to-moment decisions throughout the day - so that if I really want that glass of wine after the girls are in bed, I can choose accordingly during the rest of the day and build it into that day's choices! Thank you for helping me turn my weight/health/whole approach to food around!

Have been doing Noom for 4 weeks

I like the fact that you get a good sense of what Noom is about in your first 13 days for free. I was hooked and ready to press forward after that. I love the graph used to watch your weight. So many things of what you’re thinking good and bad about yourself Noom seems to know at just the right time. Example: Right at 4 weeks I got discouraged. The very next day the reading for the day was about highs and lows.

I also like that you have a group coach and can talk with peers in a group that Noom matches up with you. My nutrition coach meets with me once a week and we set goals for me specifically which I also like. Noom is written with a quirkiness that often brings a smile to my face too. I would recommend it to anyone, but you can’t expect the weight to fall off right away. You’re learning a new lifestyle and healthier ways to live which takes time.

What a surprise!

This science-based program is perfect for this nerdy nurse-scientist. Noom brings all the research - unfolded bit-by-bit, with a delightfully embedded sense of humor, to the user interface, in such an engaging way. You interact about 10-15 minutes a day and then get to make the program your own. No forbidden foods...you are nudged to the best food decisions without judgment. I love the program!

Enjoying learning all Noom has been teaching me.

I have tried other diets that required taking supplements but always gave up because of the costs. Noom is super easy to keep doing because the cost is low to get in the program. I like the color system for how the food is listed. I have never been taught about calorie dense foods before. Everything is easy to understand in this program.
