Excellent tool if you want to change to healthy eating

I have lost weight with Noom, and still have 20 lbs to go, not because it's a diet, it's a way to learn and re-learn new and old GOOD eating habits.

Learn about balancing the CALORIES BUDGET, learn about your relationship with food and exercise, and how to handle it. Face HEAD ON perceptions of reality and thinking process to help you succeed in losing weight and keep it off.

If you are serious about losing weight, get "Nooming."

A bit inconvenient

Noom has been a valuable tool for my weight loss. It is always there at my fingertips for when I am discouraged or feeling like slipping. I am 35 days in and have lost 16 lbs!

I have one suggestion that would make it so much better. I need to be able to refresh my memory on past info, find my answers to the questions and make notes. I didn't realize the large amount of info that I would get. Currently, there is no way to print out the daily messages, other than screenshots, which if I could print them would actually be 192 pages so far. I know there is the download for the first 14 days, but that prints out at 181 pages. The article titles in the list really don't tell what they are about. You use acronyms and repeat them later on, but I have no idea what they mean and can't find them in the articles. Flipping back and forth with a printout (no pictures) would be wonderful! Thanks!

Best dieting app around

Five weeks in and I’m very impressed with the content, focus community, and coaching that the Noom dieting app offers.

It works perfectly for my schedule, as I keep irregular working hours so can’t commit to a group. Noom gives me the flexibility I need.

If you want a program with masses of resources that keeps you accountable, this may well work for you too.

Love Noom!

I have tried many different ways to lose weight. I feel this is it because for me weight, food, and psychology are all intertwined. The helpful tips, the coach, and blog aspects help get through most days without losing it to my internal elephant. I am just five weeks in and have lost 7 pounds. I feel like I am going get to my goal this time and more importantly stay there for life.

I think that the science behind the program is a game changer for me. And there is lots of support from my coach and our group. All of this totally contributes to a great strategy for losing weight and keeping it off. I've basically lost 1 pound per week, and it is staying off. Best one yet

I am a seasoned Weight Watchers veteran who has played the roller coaster up and down for too many years to count. I know what I need to do to lose the weight but keeping it off a lifetime struggle.

Noom’s approach adding the psychology behind eating well seems to be the ticket. At least I am learning my triggers, the why I eat what I eat when I eat it. Noom doesn’t take away the fun stuff, just teaches one to build it into the day’s calories.

I really believe I’ll be able to keep it off this time based on what I am learning and the fact Noom uses calories as the base rather than points. One doesn’t see WW points on a menu often.

Noom also encourages movement, which is also good.

I have already recommended Noom to others, and my personal trainer daughter has as well. She found Noom to be a great weight loss system.

Excellent program

I started Noom at the end of 2018. I realized that my weight loss issues were not only food related, but psychological. I found that I was upset when I would see or hear about other people eating food that I knew I couldn't have. I absolutely hated the idea that I was going to have to live my life being deprived of things that I like.

I'm now in my sixth week of Noom and no longer have those damaging thoughts. I'm learning how to work around the emotional part of eating. I can now handle the social pressures when I'm out eating with other people. Those kind ones who keep saying, "oh, go ahead, you can have one bite, it won't kill you." (I said no to calamari last night, first time ever.)

In the last five weeks, my energy level has gone up, I'm sleeping better, I'm losing inches all over, and my sugar cravings ARE GONE! I was with a family member last night that hasn't seen me in three weeks, he asked how much weight I've lost. I've lost 8 pounds and he was able to see my weight loss.

I almost gave the program 4 stars is because of the platform itself. It is not very user-friendly (compared to other platforms I've been on), and you can't use it on your PC. There are a lot of tweaks that are needed for the platform, but I have no other complaints.

I highly recommend this program to anyone who is having an issue with "diets" and wants to learn how to eat properly. The tasks each day help to build habits that you don't even realize you are adapting. The coaches and specialists are there to help whenever you need it. And your support group each understand what you are going through, so they really do help.

Great program

I thoroughly enjoy the daily psychology hints and motivational program that keeps me on track. If you use the app as it is designed, you will have success - no question. The group chats are supportive and the counselors well informed. The cost is affordable, so if anyone is sitting on the fence, I would recommend you just go ahead and give it a try. Five weeks into the program and I've dropped 9 pounds. This may not sound like a lot of weight loss, but I was also on a 10-day Caribbean cruise within that time period, so the weight loss and general well being I'm experiencing are quite remarkable. I'm also over 60, so the weight comes off slower than when I was younger. All in all, I'm having excellent success.

Extremely helpful

I have loved Noom from the moment I started. It speaks to where I am at. The food tracker is the easiest I have ever used, and the helpful hints have always hit me where I needed it. I am in week 6 and have lost 15 pounds. I have never stayed with a plan this long, and I sense that it is becoming part of my routine. Have had ups and downs, but the support from coaches and other Noomers has helped me to get right back on track.
