I've been dieting since I was 14 years old and this month I'm turning 67. Oh, I've lost the weight. I even had a gastric bypass and lost 100 pounds. None of the diets I followed, including the bi-pass, addressed my thought process and attitude about food, eating, and dieting. Which is why I gained it back - I was clueless.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not uneducated. I studied nutrition and graduated from university with a BS in Organizational Management. But even though I also studied psychology, I didn't understand why I was so adept at shooting myself in the foot (figuratively) and sabotaging myself with food.
All I've ever wanted to do, was to get into a balance of nutrition, enjoyment of food and health. Until now, I was never successful. Noom has shown me the way by taking me through my own thought processes that determine why, when, how much and what I eat. It allows me to celebrate my victories and vanquish what used to be food enemies, but no longer have control over me.
And I've only been with Noom for 6 weeks! Oh and I weigh less now than I have in two years. Thank you Noom!
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
