My Livia is absolutely AMAZING! Suffering from serious cramps every month it was time for me to do something. I saw an ad for Livia and I was worried about the price. With that being said, it has been worth every single penny that I spent on it. I am able to be mobile again during my period instead of having to stay home with a heating pad and multiple doses of pain medication. Livia has truly changed my life for the better.

Livia has actually changed my life.

As someone who gets seriously debilitating cramps, I found myself having to take a massive amount of painkillers to be able to go to work...And even then my work was compromised because my brain would be foggy from all the painkillers!

I was getting all sorts of other adverse effects from the monthly painkiller binge too. And it was freaking me out. So I started searching for an alternative and found Livia. I initially wasn't totally convinced to buy it as it was an online product claiming all sorts of miracles, but I chatted to my mother who is a medical practitioner and she said that the TENS technology they're using has been around for years and is very effective in reducing some womens' labor pains.

So I gave it a shot and ordered a cute little green one.

When I started using my Livia, my whole ability to function in the world changed - The pain was gone and I was actually able to think straight while using it! This product is absolutely brilliant and very fast to work, unlike painkillers that can take forever!

I have been constantly recommending it to my friends ever since.

As dramatic as it sounds, this is a life-changing pain management product. For years I have needed prescription painkillers which didn't always help, and I was unable to attend school, college, and work due to severe pain.

From the first time using Livia, I have not needed any prescription painkillers while wearing the product. It is comfortable, discreet and simple to use. The battery life is ideal and so easy to charge with its versatile USB lead.

I've had very painful menstrual cramps and always had to take a lot of painkillers to help me cope with it. Since I started using Livia, I take around two painkillers per menstrual cycle, compared to 10+ that I used to take before.

Livia relieves the pain, and it's simple to use - I can clip it onto my pants and go out. It's also great that the intensity is adjustable, so I can increase it or decrease it based on the amount of pain I'm feeling.

I have been dealing with painful periods since the very beginning and it has gotten so far that I had to take few prescription painkillers daily. I got Livia about a year ago and my life got much easier. I usually use it for the first three days of period and I only take one painkiller from time to time (not even every month). Livia is not a magical device that will make the pain disappear, but it makes it a lot more bearable and enables normal life (I would guess that depends on the intensity of one’s pain - in the case of mild pain Livia should shut it off completely). I am tremendously satisfied with this product, the battery usually lasts for around 6 - 8 hours, which is enough for one day, and the gel pads can be used for more than one period. All in all, I am really glad I got this and would definitely recommend it to anyone suffering from mild to intense period pain.

Honestly, I would not know where I'd be without my Livia! I suffer from endometriosis and this works miracles! Helps me more when I need a toilet as I have really bad cramps. I use it everywhere I go.

It's a great product against menstrual cramps - mine would get so bad I would lie in bed screaming and almost faint, but ever since I've started using Livia, I can tackle the cramps just in time before they get too painful to deal with. It gives little electrical shocks so in the beginning, it feels a bit tingly, but after a few minutes, it starts numbing the painful area, which is AWESOME. No more heaps of painkillers for me.

If you’re wondering if this is different to a TENS machine, the answer is no - it’s the same, it doesn’t do anything different, and is a waste of money. I have severe Endometriosis so I can’t comment on whether this works for normal period pain, but it was less useful for my pelvic pain and cramps than my cheap TENS. It’s such a weird claim to only have one setting (this setting just feels like a standard TENS one) as you can get one for £30 in the chemist that has loads of different options and settings and 4 pads so you can wear it on your back.

I sent my Livia back for a refund but wasn’t contacted about it and had a very frustrated back and forth with them saying they hadn’t received my parcel - sent Royal Mail tracked with insurance to make sure it would reach them. Eventually, they said they would refund me, but I found their customer service to be poor.

It makes me angry that they are making money recycling an old idea selling to women in pain. Save yourself a lot of money and get a normal TENS from Argos.

I sent a long time ago the device back because during big pain it doesnt help and I never ever again saw my money back. All I was getting through email are promises to contact me - nobody did. I was always writing them emails and all I got were just promises. So they are totally lying about their money back policy.
