When I first heard about Livia, they were still asking for backers. I read about how it works and I was a little skeptical. However, having suffered through plenty of bad cramps some leading to me passing out in pain despite normal pain relief, I decided to give it a go and I made the decision to back them. I received my Livia after what felt like forever and the first time I used it I was sooo surprised! It works! Not only did it relieve my pain, but I actually stop thinking about my period and I was able to carry on like normal. Ever since then I haven't looked back. I rarely use normal pain relief now. I switch on my Livia for a good 30 minutes to an hour at a time. Some days I don't even need it, that's how good the long-lasting effects are.

Do yourself a favor and order one. It's worth it!

Just want to put out a warning on this device.

They are sent from the US and incur £32 customs charge. The website does not make this clear, even selling in £’s.

Further, they do not dispatch for a week...and delivery is even longer, contrary to website claims.

They fail to cancel prior to dispatch (over the late dispatch) despite this being on their terms of use.

Customer services have declined to deal with any complaints.

I feel this is kind of taking advantage of women. If you look up TENS devices in the UK, you will find cheaper but less pretty alternatives.

I bought the Livia device on the 4th of January for $199. The company advertised a 30-day money back guarantee. I decided after a couple of days when the order was taking too long to ship that I wanted to cancel the order.

I first contacted Livia on the 8th of January 2019 to inform the company I wanted to cancel the order. The order was still in the processing stage and I had a 30-day money back guarantee so I assumed the order could be canceled.

I received a reply asking me to reconsider and was offered a free "skin" as compensation for the delay in shipping time. This tells me that there was plenty of time to amend the order. I replied that I did not want the free skin and that I wanted my order canceled.

I was told that my order "would be canceled and you will be refunded in 30 days."

I then received another email on the same day asking me to reconsider again and was told I could "split the order" to get it to ship faster. Which once again proves the company had time to cancel the order. I refused once more and was told that "you will be refunded within 30 business days starting from the date of order cancelation." Which means I should have received the refund by the 20th of February.

On the 10th of January, I received a shipping notification. I immediately contacted Livia and informed them of the issue and was told that the order had indeed been shipped out. I was then provided a tracking number and told to refuse the parcel on delivery. I was told it should take 10-14 days delivery time.

I refused the parcels delivery on the 1st of February 2019 at the post office.

It has now been 28 days since I returned the parcel and the company is still claiming they do not have the parcel and therefore will not refund my money until the package arrives.

I have read similar bad reviews on Amazon and stupidly ignored them. This company will make your life hell trying to get money back and may well claim they don't receive a parcel in order to not have to pay you the money.

I am so upset, stressed and frustrated that a company believes they can treat their customers like this. Please trust me and spend your money on a different (cheaper) tens devise elsewhere unless you are sure you will not want to take part of the 30-day money back. Please read other reviews like mine and think carefully before purchasing so you don't end up scammed out of $200 like me.

For 18 years I’ve suffered with crippling period pain. My daughter has been suffering with the same crippling period pain for almost 4 years. Livia has truly changed our lives. It stops period pain in its’ tracks. Livia is safe, effective, and discreet. It works, and it’s worth every cent.

I have a Tilted Uterus and experience almost 100% of my menstrual pain in my lower back, before Livia I was taking 800MG of ibuprofen several times throughout the day and using a heating pad whenever I possibly could. I was miserable.

Livia took my pain away to the point I thought I wasn’t having cramps, so I took Livia off and within a couple of minutes, I was experiencing intense cramps. I put Livia back on and the pain immediately went away! Livia is easy to use and certainly a lifesaver. Get one, and pass the word along!

I’ve had the Livia for 2 months now. This product is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone suffering from horrible menstrual cramps. I have had debilitating cramps for years. I would miss school and work due to the pain. I’ve tried prescription pain meds and birth control. Nothing has worked the way Livia does. The only issue would be communication with the company and delivery. They say 3-5 days in the USA but my packages arrived over 3 weeks after I placed my order. I purchased two devices.

I have always had the worst cramps. I’m talking in bed, keeled over, thinking I’m going into labor bad. This is the best product in existence. I don't have endometriosis but I do experience painful cramps and this has helped tremendously. I've read reviews and it doesn't work for everybody, but also you might not be putting the pedals in the right spot, it takes some time to get used to...but now I don't have to call out of work or take an excessive amount of Advil. It does get annoying that you have to adjust the pedals to target the pain, but that's not so serious.

I am extremely grateful my mother bought this for me. I have also recommended to my boss's daughter, I'm not sure if she wound up buying it, but I will recommend to anyone who has painful or stubborn period cramps. I also heard you can use it on back pain, which I haven't tried yet but I will! And customer service is awesome - I reached out on Instagram and they responded. Most companies don't usually care or care to respond, so I was happy they acknowledged. Thank you so much, Livia.

I was on the fence with this product for a year before I finally took the plunge and bought it. I’ve struggled with period pain since I first started my period. Since having my daughter, my cramps have only gotten worse...their like labor pains all over again. I was desperate and finally bought the Livia device. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! I only wish I had made it sooner. Within 10 minutes my pain is gone and rather than lasting 3-4 days, it only lasts 1-2. This product does wonders for period pain and I highly recommend to it to anyone that struggles with painful periods!

I have endometriosis and often no amount of medication will get rid of the pain when I'm on my period. All pain relievers do is dull the pain and then usually also make me nauseated. The Livia has completely changed my monthly experience. I don't need anything else when I have the Livia on and I can walk upright. My only complaint is I wish the battery lasted longer because it sucks when I have to take a break and feel the pain again while it's charging.
