I loved the NP I got to speak with, Natalie, but the process for waiting to even speak with someone? Horrible. Absolutely horrible.
As soon as your screen goes “black” you’re kicked out of the waiting room. If you go to text someone or check an email? You’re kicked out. If you try to turn off Bluetooth? Yep, you guessed it - you’re out. So there’s absolutely no using your phone while you’re in the waiting room (if you’re using the app on your phone, or really, if you’re using your phone period).
And that means you’re at the back of the line, only you don’t even know how far the line is because there isn’t an “estimated wait” time, nor is there a way to find out how many people are waiting ahead of you. You could be waiting minutes, or it could be hours - who knows?
Calling the helpline doesn’t help, and you can’t make an appointment with someone, even if you keep getting “kicked out” of the waiting room. If you weren’t already coming to Lemonaid for anxiety, this will give it to you. And my heart goes out to anyone who does suffer with anxiety, because this will only exacerbate it.
Natalie saved me from giving this review no stars - I’m getting the help I needed which is the only reason I’d recommend it to others but there has to be a better way to get people that initial video chat they so desperately need. Thank you!
