I have almost totally eliminated white flour and sugar, the nightshade vegetables and tomatoes (which was the most difficult) from my diet, along with the Lectin Shield. In 4 weeks, I have practically eliminated any signs of my IBS. I feel better than I have in years. I have extremely low blood pressure with tachycardia, so I am watching that closely, but have seen no harmful results. It has always been a struggle finding a diet that had any effect on my IBS. I realize now, it was due to keeping many of the nightshade vegetables and tomatoes in my diet. I take the Lectin Shield, along with the Total Restore, each morning with my Vital Reds. Later in the morning, I drink a ProPlant Complete Shake with the PrebioThrive and I feel great throughout the day! I eat spinach and kale salads with olive oil and apple cider vinegar and either a chicken breast or salmon steak in my InstaPot for dinner. I don't have the afternoon slump, and for the first time in many years, I sleep throughout the night, at least 8 hours without any medication.
After trying South Beach, Paleo, Keto and every other diet, I finally feel like a different person. Thank you, Dr. Gundry, for making my 60's better than I ever expected.
