When I first applied City Lips, I was afraid it was going to be sticky and messy, but the gloss quickly adhered well to my lips and formed something like a protective shield that lasted all night long and did not rub off. My lips are definitely smoother and less dry and flakey. I have not noticed a significant plumping effect yet, but I am hopeful over time that will occur.
