Hydro Mousse Liquid Lawn

I have had very good experience with Hydro Mousse. I moved into a house which had a mess for a garden and started from scratch. I bombed out the patch of wild grass and weeds with a powerful weed killer, rotovated the soil, then leveled it and raked it over. The soil is very heavy, clay based, and I put down a fair amount of sharp sand which I then raked in. I then set about the task with the Hydro Mousse. Many reviewers complain about the amount it will cover. I would agree with that. In my case the supply with the kit covered 50 sq. ft. Once sprayed I then rolled the surface with a large gas container as I do not possess a roller. After a few days of three times daily watering the grass took off. There are some small bare spots that I believe was due to my lack of garden roller and watering which caused some of the seed to float down hill. The grass is now 3 inches high and looks super, so I have stopped watering and in a few days I will give a high cut and take the tops off. By an large I cannot fault the product and I am very happy with the result. Perhaps as a logical person I do read and carry out the instructions to the letter as best I can and that may be a help. I would recommend the product but do carry out the instructions to the letter.

I saw the video of Hydro Mousse growing on cement. I bought the product and applied it to my lawn, in bare spots. I followed all the directions and not one blade of grass appeared. My neighbor said I should have paved my lawn first and then maybe it would grow grass. It is a rip off.

I ordered 6 bags which weren't enough for 400 square feet. The applicator didn't work very well, it hard to turn on/off. The seed sprayed in one location. I called the company and explained situation so they sent out another order. Same results. I will not recommend this product will return remaining product that wasn't used.

Does not work as the commercial claims. The green product that the seeds supposedly stick to, seems to be a simple dye.

Don't waste your money or time very poor product never saw the first blade of grass looks good on TV but what a joke in real life. What a way to rip of the public.

This product is a complete waste of time and money. First of all, be prepared for a painful sales experience as the folks they have in phone support are complete robots that want nothing but your credit card and more money. I could not believe the tactics used to 'Up Sale', and this should have been he clue needed to just hang up, but they won't have that and keep you lured in for the hard sale. Decided to try a bottle and what a joke it was to apply, the contents don't have any way of regulating output and therefore you get little to no coverage. I would estimate if the product had worked as advertised, I might have got 20-30 sq. ft. of coverage, but nothing grew at all. Contents were a green dyed mess, soil was properly prepared per instructions, nothing grew at all. Absolute waste of time and money, go to Home Depot and get something that will actually work or use the hydro seed pros if you can as it will be much cheaper and much less hassle.

I bought a house that had a flower bed in a weird spot in the yard, so I got rid of it and decided to grow grass there. I followed the instructions and watered three times daily. Grass sprouted within five days. It's been two weeks since I put it down and it is spreading out pretty evenly, and almost at the 3" height where I can mow it. I tried to lay down regular seed before I got the hydro mousse, and I think it just washed away from the rain. Make sure you loosen your dirt/soil before spraying it.

I have some spots in what is otherwise a very healthy and attractive lawn. First of all the "double the grass seed " is a real disappointment. I used half the seed in my first application which lasted less than 10 seconds and the seed was gone before I could finish the first spot. I read the instructions and watched the video and after 10 seconds it was just spewing water. After two weeks the seed has done nothing. Don't waste your money.

Don't bother with this product. Complete waste. There's not enough to cover the advertised area. After following instructions exactly, I got a small amount of "fuzz" to sprout but that all faded after a week or so. Total scam.

I just put it on the bare spots and I noticed that all it was, was seed and water. There was no growth coating like they showed on TV. I have all the information and I would like someone from the company to call me. Thank you.
