I used the HomeLight referral service to identify three top realtors in my home’s area. Two of the three were excellent candidates, the third was determined to not be a fit following a short phone interview. I selected Carl Medford because he uses a team approach, delegating the many tasks to team members best qualified and trained. This approach allowed Carl to be responsive to me while he continues to be the largest volume agent in the area. I also appreciate that his wife, Sheryl, provides design and staging service to help me get the best offer possible. Lastly, Carl donates some of his commission to a list of deserving local charities, allowing me to select the recipient.

Our experience with Homelight was outstanding. After signing up, we received two referrals from agents in the area. They both contacted us within 24 hours, sent information and booked appointments with us. Both were successful and had detailed knowledge of the local market.

We chose Chris Rosenburg who was outstanding. He had great insights and kept us on the straight and narrow. (We lived out of town and had a difficult property to sell.) We received a contract within a week of listing. It fell through (not the right buyer), but Chris was not discouraged. We had another contract within a month, and the closing went through without a hitch.

Regarding the sale of my home in Port St. Lucie, Florida, I found HomeLight helpful in terms of locating a few possible real estate agents in the area with whom to list the property. Since I was living out of state, I was not familiar with real estate agents in the Port St. Lucie area. As such, it was very helpful to have an organization like HomeLight to help in this process. I ended up narrowing my list to three agents and arranging interview meetings with those three agents. Out of the three agents who appeared to be highly reviewed by HomeLight, I ended up ultimately choosing ReMax 100 (William Eggeling) in the end. My home was sold within five months.

I came across HomeLight.com website while searching for real estate agents when we decided it was time to sell our home. After signing up, I kind of forgot about the site. Several local agents had been marketing to us, and I invited them to come for interviews. One of the agents did not reply (on honeymoon!), so I remembered the website and requested contacts for agents.

HomeLight referred two "heavy hitters" to me, one which was ranked in the top 10% for his firm in our market (Charlotte, NC) and one that was ranked in the top 10% for his firm nationally! These two far exceeded everyone else we interviewed, except for one, who was the nearest geographically but didn't sell our size of home and was at least 10% below our target price range.

We selected Brian Belcher, the agent that was ranked nationally. While everyone emphasized marketing and social media his sample photography and virtual tours were very impressive, and his experience gave us confidence.

Things moved VERY quickly and Brian and his team were supportive. The photographers and 360-degree videographers were outstanding, making our house look super.

Our neighborhood market was "hot," but our house was very unique and did not have many comps to give it the value we thought it deserved. Brian selected a price point at our first meeting and stood by it. When we put it on the market, we had 16 showings and six offers between 8:00 am Saturday and 5:00 pm Sunday. Having an experienced agent guide us through the decisions made a huge difference. We ended up getting above asking price.

The couple that purchased the home was remote, did so based on the media only. Seeing the house the following weekend, a testament to the excellent marketing.

I don’t know where to begin. Libby and Craig, and the whole team were fantastic. They had great suggestions for staging, had a very professional crew for photographing my home, assisted in finding a reputable mover, and went the extra mile in helping make our move go smoothly. Because of glitches, we had to leave before the movers came to pack up the house. Craig was a trooper and was there during the multiple day process to ensure that the house was packed and the furniture was safely on its way. They also assisted in selling the bigger appliances and that was very helpful! Finally, they were there for us whenever we needed them and made the move less stressful. I would recommend the Ross team again and again. I also want to thank HomeLight for their assistance in finding this great realty pair!

When we decided to sell our home, our first question was, whom should we list with? I told my wife that I had seen a commercial for a service that helped you locate a good real estate agent to sell your home. The problem was that I did not recall the company name as when I saw the commercial, selling was not on my mind. The day after our conversation, I turned on the television and the first commercial that came on was for HomeLight. I recognized it and wrote down the web address. I immediately went to my computer and signed on. The sign on process was quick. After signing on, I began to read the home page to learn more when my phone rang. It was an agent from HomeLight! I told him that I was amazed at this response time!

The agent then told me what would follow in the process, gave me some tips, and answered my questions. All in all, I spent some 10 minutes on sign up and in talking with the agent.
