I did not sign up on HomeLight, only went on the site to see what it offered. I did give my zip code. Now I get "messages" on my computer from them! And there's no way to get rid of them. I will NEVER use this service or recommend it!

If you've ever experienced the Lending Tree barrage of hundreds of people contacting you by all means (phone, email, text) when you thought it was a good idea to use the "service" to find a home loan, then you must know that you're into this in spades with HomeLight.

Expect HUNDREDS of contacts beginning within seconds of registering. And remember, real estate agents fall into the same class as USED CAR SALES REPRESENTATIVES.

Terrible experience. Thank God I used a ghost email address and phone number.

Another scam to get you to talk to lazy realtors. I cannot believe how lazy they are. We asked for investors only, but got salespeople who knew NOTHING about our neighborhood, or our market. Jeez...save yourself time and don't call, don't respond. They are succubus and time wasters.

HomeLight is a great website, it saved me the trouble of looking up multiple real estate agents which I didn't have time to do. Within a day I was put in contact with an agent who sold my home within two weeks. The convenience of HomeLight and the quality of the agents they represent is well worth the fees. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a hassle-free real estate experience.

After trying to figure out how best to find a real estate agent that would be knowledgeable enough to help me sell my home, I heard a commercial for HomeLight and decided to try this avenue for finding an agent, and I am so glad I did. HomeLight immediately contacted me and provided me with a list of qualified agents in my area and after contacting the suggested agents, I received instant responses. The agent I chose was awesome! She was kind, lived in the area, and understood my needs and concerns about selling my home and worked with my timeline for sale. The listing process was smooth and I received multiple offers within 5 days of placing my home on the market and closed within 30 days after accepting an offer. My agent took all my stress away and helped me not only sell my house in record time, but also helped me sell it for more than asking price all thanks to HomeLight.

Thanks for referring Omar. Omar was a great realtor. He was very thoughtful, structured and predictable. Omar walked us through his approach and was candid about 1) What he expected from us 2) What to expect from him. He is very knowledgable about the Bay Area market. The best thing we liked about Omar was that he was not pushy when it came to making a decision. There was a house which had a lot of flaws and Omar was upfront in pointing those out instead of pushing us to make a sale. We loved working with him and would work with him again if the opportunity arises.

Thanks, HomeLight, for recommending Omar. However the other agent you recommended (at the same time you recommended Omar), who was not ideal. She didn't even meet us or ask us what our preferences were. She, however, started sending us listings and pushing sales instead of connecting with us (or even meet us).

You guys are doing a good job. Keep it up.

Based on all the criteria we tell them they pick up the real realtor who will be a right fit for us. They have done astonishing service in this very competitive housing industry where digital marketing is very important. I owned a rental property that was almost 300 miles away from my where I live, so it wasn’t convenient for me to try to find a realtor in the area of my rental. A simple internet search led me to HomeLight. Within minutes after requesting a realtor through HomeLight, I was contacted by a HomeLight representative, thanking me for using their service and letting me know that my request for a realtor had been forwarded on to several top-rated realtors. Very shortly after being contacted by the HomeLight representative, I received a response from two different realtors. After choosing a realtor, and giving them all of the details about the house I was selling, my house was listed and then sold with very little effort on my part.

I was searching homes online as my wife and I were considering moving to San Antonio from out of state. I did not know a good realtor or know anyone for recommending one. I saw an advertisement for HomeLight and decided to contact them.

I was in a few minutes I was contacted by a realty (Phillips and Associates Associates). Kaitlynn was amazing and helped us search and find our dream retirement home! We were assisted throughout the whole process and follow up with assistance checklists after closing to help with address changes etc. This really helped take the stress out of moving and buying.

When I contacted HomeLight I had no idea who or what I would be getting as recommendations. I only had one fully contact me back (if I remember correctly, the other emailed and wouldn’t be able to chat with me for a few weeks). However, the one that contacted me back was within hours and was so helpful and generous with their time I was floored.

I honestly could not have completed this sale without the help of Joanne’s team. It took over a year to complete it and I was in the Midwest almost the entire time. No one was ever impatient with me when things got messy and I was so incredibly satisfied with the entire process from beginning to end.
