I also bought 3 times as much BioTrust 3, Lectin Shield and Total Restore 3, I am not sure if I needed to buy all three.

By Lorna H., Bronx, NY, Verified Reviewer

Please tell me if buying all three was a mistake or unnecessary. I called the very next day after getting my online receipt and seeing that I spent over $1,000 on my order and I freaked. I immediately called and the customer service representative suggested I keep it because I have three months to return it. I actually lost my sense of time these past few months and saw it was more than three months.

I am confused about its efficacy because I thought it was necessary to use all three products together. Is that true? I would like to know because then it gets to be very expensive. One day I skipped taking my Metamucil and was in terrible pain as Metamucil keeps the stool soft and I was literally going out of my mind from the pain and took a fleet enema. I felt like the heavens and earth opened up as I gave birth to three separate bowel movements (it literally felt like I was giving birth). I will never skip the Metamucil and when I take all three and the Metamucil I do get to go to the bathroom. I am unsure if I get other benefits but I only have bio 3 and Lechtin Shield left. The dosage I should take is in question. Should I take 2 bioX 3 capsules in the morning and 2 at night or all 4 together. Lechtin Shield says to take 2 a day/ And Restore 3 says three a day. I am unsure when to take each one. At this point I am down to my last bottles of Bio 3 and Lectin Shield and do not know if I will reorder or not. I would feel a lot better if someone called me from the company to tell me what each one is doing and if it pays to spend on all 3.

Then the collagen product I saw was not vegan and I did not know if all these supplements were FDA approved. I am confused and scared to change my routine now. I was thinking Bio X3 may be the best because it is good a prebiotic, probiotic and post probotic, I would think. Then there was this one day when I did not take my daily dose of Metamucil and I took all the other 3 products and thought that would be enough. That day I was so miserable because I could not go to the bathroom and had horrible stomach pain. I finally took a fleet enema which I detest taking and I finally went three separate movements. The stool was extremely hard and it felt like I delivered three children. That may sound funny but it was really painful and I had to use a rubber glove and remove it by breaking it up before passing through and risk getting an anal fissure which was a nightmare and I got that in 2011 after a rectal prolapse surgery due to the morphine and pain killers. That lasted 6 months and I had to spend my life in the bath as it was so painful. I went to 6 doctors in New York and bought compound creams costing close to two hundred dollars a jar. I finally looked on the internet and I am not so savvy on the computer and I found a group chat with anal fissure complaints and they were all telling me to buy "Recovery Creme" by Dr. Wheatgrass and they specified that it may not feelm like it is working but do not give up becauwse it can take a few weeks to feela differenc. I used it often and waited and finally, I felt something change for the better so I continued applying this recovery creme for another month and all of a sudden I did not have that pain. It did work and I hope you get the message out top people. Maybe Restore 3 and that creme would work faster but I would not know. My Doctor assured me that although an anal fissure may cause you to feel like you want to die, but it will not cause a person to die. That helped me not one bit.

I would respect Dr. Gundry and your whole team if you got the word out to people looking for a solution to anal fissures. I am left with a thrombotic hemorrhoid and have been applying 2.5% of Proctozone-HC after a movement and had been soaking in a 15-minute bath with Lavender Epsom Saltz but sometimes that helps relieve the pain but does not cure it. My doctor said that some of the procedures can make it worse and another person told me they sort of cut the circulation off to that area by rubber banding it and it falls off because there has been no blood supply to that area. With Coronavirus and all, I have been waiting to look into this more. If you know, or please ask Dr. Gundry his opinion on how to get rid of this thrombotic hemorrhoid. Also, ask him my other questions. Thank you, and if we talk I can give you my phone number. I do not think it is violating the below agreement if I mention the name of the creme for the fissure. If you think it does then take it out of my review. I want people to get the message, and since you said people suffering with anal fissures found relief by using Total Restore then that might be true. I did not know about your company in 2011.

Total Restore review

By Sebastien ME P., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Verified Reviewer

This is not a fake review. To prove it, I'll say that I'm skeptical of most products he prescribes, but Total Restore really helped! I used to often have gas build-up around the sternum area that I had to "burp" up to relieve the discomfort. After taking the product for a month (3 pills a day), that chronic long term problem is completely gone. It came back very slightly, after I stopped taking it for a few months and ate greasy/sweet food, and disappeared again after taking it again for a week. Now, I just have one (1) pill every 3 or 4 days for maintenance, and that keeps any issues at bay. I'm shocked it worked. Having said that, I'm not recommending any other products which I haven't tried, and may or may not work (again I'm skeptical of most advertised "miracle" cures, lol). This one may or may not help you.

Experiencing better general health

By Davtd Walden, Texas, Verified Reviewer

Since I have begun Dr. Gundry's diet plan and taking Total Restore, I have lost over 40 lbs and I feel great. I am a 70-year-old overweight guy who has tried without success to lose weight and improve my health. I watched the film where Dr. Gundry talked about Lectins and leaky gut. I started his program, and eliminated the foods that he specified. I am doing great and plan to continue this program until I reach my optimum weight. Thank you!

One problem: They hawked Dr. G's book "Diet Evolution" in the video. I bought this book on Amazon, and after reading some of it, I tossed it in the trash. I found that the things that were working for me were mostly contradicted in the book. Although the book was written ten or so years ago, and ideas have changed somewhat, I don't think they should promote a book that doesn't follow present guidelines.

Without being overly harsh, their company appears to be commercial, and overly concerned with the almighty dollar rather than genuinely concerned with the health of people. I thought this first when they substituted Dr. Gundry's talk with a professional smooth tongue. Even though the program has been good for me, I totally wasted $15 and lost faith in them!

Company Response from Gundry MD

May 8, 2018

Hi Davtd, I'm Aria from Gundry MD. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review about your experience with Total Restore. I am so happy to hear that you are experiencing such a positive improvement in your overall health while adopting Dr. Gundry's diet plan, as well as Total Restore! I would like to touch on some of the other comments you made regarding "Diet Evolution". I am really sorry to hear that you did not enjoy this book. I would like to mention that Dr. Gundry's new book, "The Plant Paradox" reflects more up-to-date research and findings.

We do understand that Dr. Gundry's findings are pretty groundbreaking, so they might come with a bit of criticism, but as you can see from the thousands of testimonials, people are experiencing positive results while following The Plant Paradox. In addition, I am really upset to hear about how you feel about our Gundry MD itself. We are solely focused on improving the health and happiness of all of our customers, and we are in no way a company that focuses on "The Almighty Dollar". That would be highly unethical. Again, I am really sorry to hear that you feel this way but I hope I cleared up any confusion. Please email me at Aria@gundrymd.com if you would like to further discuss any concerns or issues you may be experiencing.

I feel no difference

By Dionne Chinn, Reno, NV, Verified Reviewer

I'm sorry, Dr. Grundy, I am an active 50-year-old woman who had her first pregnancy at age 38 and twins at age 40, with three Laparoscopic procedures to remove uterine fibroid prior to that. I have this horrible belly that keeps growing despite my best efforts. My energy level has always been high, I eat very well, alcohol in moderation, I exercise regularly, and take NO medications. I hate having this extra weight, and NO ONE can seem to help me with my issue.

Thank you for trying though!

Need more answers

By Gayle C., Patutahi, New Zealand, Verified Reviewer

I want to have more clarity on the timing when taking the capsules. The instructions are three per day. Is that one with each meal, and if so, is that before with or after food? Should they be all taken at one time?

I have been taking them when I remember, and sometimes that means three hours after eating. I have had a range of side effects from headaches early on in the treatment, weird and more frequent bowel motions, nausea and energy plummeting. If I take one later in the evening, I can’t get to sleep. Mostly I have been fine and have definitely lowered my craving for sweet items. I am still waiting for weight loss though.

Not really sure...

By Brett F., Atlanta, GA, Verified Reviewer

Hello there, I had high hopes for Total Restore but to be honest, I just do not feel the effects. My energy level is down and I’m not eating as I should. I’m not sure what’s going on! I would not say I feel bad either, just seems to be the same space as when I started taking them (about three weeks ago). If there is something missing I would love to know as I really would love Total Restore to work!

Not sure if it is working

By John S., Washington, Verified Reviewer

I am not sure if this is working for me. I have noticed a few things, but not sure if it's the pills or that I have changed my diet. Hopefully, it is both. I am not saying that I wouldn't recommend it, but there are only two choices, and I am not sure if it is working for me. I will see how I feel in another month. I am a pretty active person, so I am hoping my food options will improve back to where I was when I was younger.

Beginning to feel a difference

By Rachel P., Birmingham, AL, Verified Reviewer

I have lupus and fibromyalgia, and the list goes on, but I do feel better. I'm more regular. I also ordered the Vital Reds. I keep gaining weight not losing. I’m getting laser treatments for my back three times a week. I hope soon I’ll be able to also work out, regain muscle, and lose weight.
