When I found myself in the worst case of unhealthy finances, I found Freedom Debt on Facebook as the best debt relief company. After talking to Rashawn Curry, I started on my journey to getting out of debt.

I was literally drowning in debt. Due to the death of my mother and having to pay for her funeral, I began to use credit cards to pay bills. I also had to get a loan to finish paying for her funeral at the end of the year the funeral home gave me to pay it off. Soon after, my hot water heater exploded in my bedroom closet. Because the insurance investigator found one small patch of mold, my insurance company would only pay half of the damages. Then I had to have my roof repaired. Then I was in the hospital for three days.

The last straw was in May of last year when a leak under my trailer caused a $344.00 water bill and the cost of repairs right before summer break. I am a 10-month employee in the school system. I have issues with the honesty of Freedom Debt Relief, as it relates to my account. Let's just say I reached my graduation date in four years, only to find out I am not done yet. Freedom Debt Relief has been sending my checks to a law firm that is defunct and not doing business anymore. Please note, never once was I contacted to be made aware of the situation. I became aware after I called about the closing of my Freedom Debt Relief account. My wife and I were so excited about reaching our final payment after four years to find out that we are still not done with the process. I ask everyone to proceed with caution.

I just started with Freedom Relief, but from the beginning, every representative that I have spoken to has been very, very respectful, and knowledgeable in the questions that I had concerns about. I was given relief in knowing that my financial situation was being handled by knowledgeable people. Having a direct number to a representative, gives me faith in the organization. I have spoken to my contact, something like four or five times in a day and every time, she was pleasant and understanding of my concerns. We were paying the minimum balance on our bills and barely had any money left for food. We get Social Security, and I work 27 hours a week in the school cafeteria.
