I purchased FootMedix for a patient of mine. She is a 60-year-old redhead with a significant history of sun exposure resulting in severe actinic damage to her skin including atrophy and malignancies.
She has been on a skin recovery/preservation regimen for about 15 years which includes oral and topical nutritional supplements, sun avoidance and protection, vigorous exercise program and removal of malignancies. She has faithfully maintained this treatment regimen and has successfully restored her skin's texture and markedly reduced the incidence of new skin malignancies. However, she continues to suffer from painful cracks and fissures in the hypertrophic skin on her heels.
When I saw Dr. Watts' presentation about FootMedix and learned one of the active ingredients was EGF, as a wound care specialist, I recognized the possibility that this could be the missing piece.
After one week of using FootMedix, the patient called me and reported significant improvement in her heel skin. Specifically, the skin was pink, softer, and more supple. The difference was so dramatic, that she refused to not treat one foot that was to serve as the untreated control. She has been treating for one month and is on her second tube. She remains pain-free with no cracks or fissures. The callouses have disappeared, and the skin is pink, soft and supple like baby skin. I don't believe she would ever agree to discontinue using her FootMedix.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
