I came across Flaviar quite by accident, but what a happy accident. While searching online for a whisky I had heard of, but was unable to buy at my local store, I discovered Flaviar.

They have allowed me to become acquainted with a wide variety of scotches and other whiskeys (as well as other varieties of liquor) from across Scotland and around the globe.

The convenience of the varietal tasting packs, the awesomeness of having select bottles delivered to my doorstep, Flaviar is simply fantastic.

Wow, I wish I read these before ordering! I ordered a tasting pack via Living Social in November. Needless to say, I have not received it and after initially ignoring my emails, I even got fobbed of with the usual December. It's now February and they've back tracked and said it was delivered in November after telling me it hasn't been dispatched. They refuse to send another out or refund my money but say they will credit my online account and I would only need to spend another £9 to order another! Needless to say, I have refused to send any more money as I have no faith in them and that I would ever get the product. They are currently investigating this situation with the post office to see who has received my parcel. I am in the process of looking into trading standards and seeing if they can help. Please do not order from them.

I ordered a Scotch tasting flight for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day which shipped on 1/28/15. It is 2/19/15 and I still do not have the package. The customer service rep was very prompt in replying, which was nice, but he let me know that when shipping to the States, things can take longer than expected. It would have been nice to know that prior to ordering. I would have paid extra to ensure it arrived on time. I can't even comment on the product yet, which hopefully won't disappoint, however do not recommend this if you are ordering it for anything time sensitive as it clearly may take a month to get your goods.
