If you are really into expensive liquor and want to try tiny little samples before investing in a bottle I guess this is good. The promotions however are confusing as to exactly what you will receive for your $60 'membership'. I saw an article about this in a magazine that sounded like you got 3 months of samples - 3 small vials of whiskey the first time and then you get to choose the next 2 months of samples - rum, vodka, gin, whatever. In actuality we got 3 samples of whiskey for $60 and that was it. Oh but this membership 'allows' us to buy more expensive booze to impress our friends, detailed information about the booze, distiller, etc. So what. I can read all that stuff online and buy quality booze at Costco or locally. What a disappointing Fathers Day gift this was! There isn't any way to get your money back either. So with my membership cancelled I get nothing but a bad whiskey taste in my mouth.

If you haven't yet sampled Teeling Small Batch and you are an Irish whisky aficionado, you must! It stands well with many more expensive Scotches, and outshines nearly all of it's Irish brethren! Smooth, even palate with a long lasting finish.

I order the flavors of Scotch. In the description it states there will be three .7 liter bottles for $41, which sounded like a nice deal. I received my shipment today and come to find out, it was three 45ml bottles. I am angry at the idea that their app LIED about the size of the bottles I was ordering and the fact that it cost so much for a very small amount. I am sickened. If I could could give zero stars I would. Also, I still have not received my rum kit which I am sure I will be disappointed about as well.

I have loved my Flaviar membership. I get great new drinks to try and have bought a number of bottles from them as well. It makes a great gift for hard to buy for friends/family as well.

Flaviar has opened my taste buds to a wider variety of spirits, some that I'd never heard of before. The member prices are better than the state-run ABC stores (often those places don't carry the wonders that Flaviar has for you). All-in-all, really glad to be a member and highly recommend them.

I purchased a bottle of Koval bourbon from Flaviar after reading their review on it. The review was spot on and the Koval was even better than I was expecting it to be.

Flaviar sent several e-mails to me confirming my order and giving me updates as to when it would ship, and when it would arrive. It actually got here several days before they estimated that it would.

Lastly, they asked me to rate their service and how I felt about the experience as a whole. Their approach was more what you would expect if someone had bought a $600 bottle of scotch rather than a 50 dollar bottle of bourbon.

I'm looking forward to a long and enjoyable membership with Flaviar.

My son was in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago and went to a Cigar Bar there and tried the Ardbeg for the first time and called me to tell me. So I ordered a bottle and was quite pleased.

I usually hate review like this but I have bought an excellent Japanese whiskey about 5 months ago which, by the way, is excellent. Recently I purchased a Japanese gin which is also more than promising.

I trust Flaviar with their recommendations and frankly their pricing. So far the ordering process has been exemplary.

My husband and I love our Flaviar subscription. They actually have a LOT more than just whiskey, so don't let that comment above fool you. We have had all sorts of options, and you can also opt out of a box if you don't like the curated box of the month and choose another spirit, or to apply your membership to a bottle instead. The options are wonderful, and I can't think of a single reason not to have fun with this great company's offerings.
