I love the whole Flaviar experience. I especially like the tasting boxes which are a real hit for my guests in the office. When I have visitors for a late business meeting in a more relaxed atmosphere, I offer the one small glass contained in the tasting boxes. I always have a gin box, whiskey box, and cognac box! They go faster than I can reorder them!

In the situations where the spirit can only be purchased online, because of the distance to the liquor store, Flaviar is a good place to order from, the shipping is quick, and Flaviar keeps you up to date on the whereabouts of your order (and when one is paying 1200 USD for a bottle of spirits, one wants to know exactly where the product is at).

The single distilleries that Flaviar has found and has gotten single batches from them are the best tasting liquor I ever had at a reasonable price. Flaviar finds the little places that normal bars and even high-end bars would not have. Keep it up Flaviar.

I have made a number of purchase of whiskeys that I could not find locally. Flaviar's selection is limited at any given time but is always changing and 'good stuff' turns up quite often. They also have very rare spirits.

Flaviar ships from the US so the shipping prices for whiskeys from Ireland, Scotland, etc. are better than overseas vendors. Their shipments are always well-packaged and delivered is a very timely manner.

Their service is excellent, and I recommend Flaviar without reservation.

When I signed up for Flaviar, I read about it to see what’s included in the $60 quarterly subscription price. My understanding (since they say it’s $20 per month billed quarterly) is that each month, you’re sent a tasting box of three vials of spirits. Once I signed up and received my disappointing “welcome box" made up of spirits that I didn’t want, I went on their (poorly made) app to see how to get what I wanted next month. Here’s when I found out, that you only get one tasting box. FOR 60 DOLLARS. That’s $20 for each 1.5oz vial in the tasting box. After your ONE box, your subscription is only good for occasional free shipping and discounted prices on spirits through Flaviar.

In closing, I immediately canceled my subscription, and think that Flaviar’s advertising is misleading. Their subscription is way overpriced for what you get.

Pros: Nice packaging, each spirit vial comes with a coaster outlining its flavor profile in a clear and understandable way. Customer service is decent.
