My fiancé and I met on FarmersOnly. I never thought we would click the way we did, but wanted to say thank you for providing this service/outlet for us to meet. We couldn't be happier together, and we are now planning our wedding. He's a super sweet Christian man. I never thought I would meet someone who cares as much about a relationship with God, and has the down home country feel. But thanks to your website, I did. I found the man who accepts my daughter and I as his own family. That's something that you can't find anymore these days. Thank you.

As a side note - I found that a lot of the candidates on FarmersOnly were much more down to earth and honest than other sites. I had very few issues with others being pushy or disrespectful.

I paid for 6 months service figuring I would be patient with the process. I began talking to someone who was really scary. I canceled my FarmersOnly account because I didn't want this person to have photos to look at. I contacted FarmersOnly right away and they said no I couldn't get a refund of my unused balance. Ok, I was upset that I had found a fraud of a man and a fraud of a dating site. I waited a month and tried to reinstate my profile. Sure FarmersOnly was all too happy to put it back up, but not at the level I paid for. Now my pictures are back up but I can't talk to anyone and again FarmersOnly is committing FRAUD. Their standard line is "you were told."

This company needs new structure, new management, and new customer SERVICE personnel. They are supposedly dealing with a clientele who has rural values and one of those values is an expectation of being honest in business dealings.

Do not pay to use this site, you will absolutely get scammed by FarmersOnly and may be by the site users. I wish I had found these reviews before I paid a lot of money for nothing.

After being a member for three short months I met my husband through FarmersOnly.com in July of 2014. On our first date he took me to a hay field where we sat in the back of the truck and watched fireworks in five surrounding towns. We were married in June 2015 on my parent's farm in Indiana. I couldn't be more thankful to this site for helping me find my love and start on our life together. We now farm in rural Illinois where we milk cows and raise pigs and turkeys. Our lives together are filled with love and cows! If it weren't for FarmersOnly.com we never would have found each other, and I'm grateful everyday that we are together.

This site is a SCAM there is a TON of fine print and you better read it all if you don't want them continuing to charge your bank account. It's very misleading. After you join, if you don't want your subscription to automatically be renewed/re-charged, you must go to the tab on the left side of the page that says "cancel account". Of course people are hesitant to press this as it sounds like your cancelling your current profile, which you already paid for. NOPE, press it! It will not delete your profile but will make it so your account isn't automatically renewed. This wording is intentionally misleading and, to me, that's poor business. They should understand that, yes, you'll get an extra 1-3 months payment from the person but they'll never join again and neither will anyone they know. Wouldn't they rather have happy customers who happily pay than get an extra misleading, sketchy subscription payment with disgruntled customers? ALSO, if you complain about this renewal they will keep your payment AND DELETE your profile, which I'm pretty sure is ILLEGAL!

Now, onto the dating experience. I joined for 3 months. Not only did I not find a local match but I didn't even go on one date off this site. I received a bunch of "likes" and emails from people in far away states. Most of them had not read my profile (they had things in their life I had stated I wasn't interested in) and many of the guys were serious hillbillies (missing teeth and such). I would not recommend this site.

Number one - the guys on the site suck. They lie, like the 35 year old grand marsh, not a farmer at all, has a place not of his own, not available ever and some others really lie on their profile. The biggest thing is FarmersOnly sucks. No way to get a hold of support. They provide you with a number but when you go to dial 1-4 nothing happens. I want a fricking​ refund and get a hold of anyone. I couldn't get into my account, sent an email twice and still no phone call.

This site is just like any other online dating service site. It's garbage, and a complete fallacy. A member clicks a "Thumbs up", or "Thumbs down" and this sends a message to the other party. The site tries to get people to sign up for a paid account based on this "thumbs up" information which has been submitted by other members, even though the evaluating members who are giving the "thumbs up" may not even be subscribed to the paid service. It's a bait and switch, and a complete waste of time, and money.

Additionally, the site does not do a good job of representing its clients accurately at all. The site literally designates astrology signs to its members that may or may not even be accurate, and there is a lot of other misinformation that gets displayed on your profile which is not able to be edited by the member themselves. The site controls the members profile entirely, and there is no way for members to contact the site regarding any discrepancies. There is a lack of transparency within the site, and it makes me question the level of loyalty, honesty, integrity, and professionalism this site has towards its client base.

Also, the members are denied their constitutional right of freedom of speech. Again, this site monitors and controls the members profile. The member is not able to express themselves in a free manner at all. Members are not permitted to talk about the site, or any other site. The site also prohibits free communication between members, which, ultimately infringes upon the objective of the site for the intended use by which this site was originally created. They don't want you to meet or communicate with other people. They just want to string you along so you keep subscribing to their paid service. It's a huge crock of crap.

Lastly, this company is based out of New York, NY. I can assure you that these crooks don't give a crap about educated country folks. All they want to do is rip you off because they think you are some dumb podunk hillbilly.

My husband and I found each other through the FarmersOnly.com dating site. I have recommended FarmersOnly.com to my single friends. I'm not embarrassed to admit that I met my husband on the dating website even though their commercials are a little corny. I prayed for a man like my husband and FarmersOnly.com was the avenue that brought us together. Thank you farmersonly.com for being a trusted dating website.

There are some genuine sweet honest people on there, but you have to be very patient and do your homework such background checks, etc. Like all of the "dating sites out there, it is infected with scammers, fakes, and all the rest of the predators, and lowlifes who use dating sites to find unsuspecting targets. If they sound and look too good to be true, they probably are! There are females posing as males, males posing as females, and those who fabricate profiles and communicate with you all the while posing as "legit".

Always remember that this is the internet. Pictures, occupations, and character can be fabricated and posted. That disclaimer they put on the site, “We do not do background checks” is there for a reason.

I initially went on farmers only just to see what it was about. I was fortunate enough to find my now husband. He was the 3rd person I had talked to, and ONLY one I met. We started talking in April 2013, met in May 2013, and I moved to be closer to him in October 2013. We just got married on October 25, 2015 and I couldn't be happier. This site was nice because you could browse and send a message without paying. But, if someone sent you a message you had to pay to see it. I am so glad I did.
