Thank you Dr. Marty!

By Dina G., California, Verified Reviewer

I watched Dr. Marty's documentary slide show on dog food manufacturing and was disgusted. I thought up to that point I had made good decisions about what to feed Lucas based on my vet's recommendations, Lucas's sensitivities and the latest information on grains. I realize now that I hadn't dug deep enough for advice outside the box. I want for Lucas to be as healthy as possible while being happily fed. I switched to freeze-dried meat-based meals to fulfill that goal. I noticed several improvements I wasn't expecting to notice in addition to just knowing he loved his food more (gobble gobble) and that he'd be healthier for it. First was his attitude toward meal time and his temperament after eating. HAPPY! JOYFUL! Like his tummy was smiling, not just full. His demeanor with the family became more relaxed, less anxious. I'm assuming he feels better with his digestion and this relaxes him. He doesn't scratch/itch any longer. Dry skin has been resolved. Also, his coat is growing faster and softer. The biggest benefit is his overall life satisfaction, like he has more confidence where he had had anxiety before.

I've asked myself how I would feel and behave in stressful as well as daily living situations if I only ate something that made me feel less than ok and had side effects like digestion issues and itchy skin all the time. I know I would be anxious and uptight and that would show in many ways.

I'm so happy that small but enormous change has occurred for Lucas, he is simply happier because he is healthier!

Introducing

By John K., Bainbridge Island, WA, Verified Reviewer

I am in the introduction phase as I begin using his new food. He is eager to eat his food. I have noticed that he has more energy. I have already recommended the food to others for them to try.

Dr. Marty's Nature's Blend

By Neil L., Nevada, Verified Reviewer

We are mixing Nature's Blend with an off the shelf good dry dog food, 50% each.

It took three feedings before our two Shelties were begging when their food was being prepared, they love it.

They are three years old, the things that were noticeable, their appetites have increased, the coat is brighter and softer to the touch.

What an improvement over other dog foods!

By Susan D., North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

My dog Tuffy (Shipoo -14 lbs) absolutely loves it! I have never seen him be so anxious to get his food when he sees me go to the pantry! I hope he doesn't get tired of it like he has with some other dog foods! So happy he is happy with it!

Wonderful product

By Cynthia W., Hull, TX, Verified Reviewer

Mitzi gets so excited when she sees me reach for the bag. She’s a 120 pound German Shepherd, but thinks she’s a lap dog. I can’t afford to feed her straight Nature's Blend, so she gets a cup in the morning and a cup at night. She has slowed down eating her other food so she has started losing some weight to the Vet's delight.

Cost is so high. I am on a fixed income so I’ll do what I can. Thanks.

New dogs

By Tom F., Stuart, FL, Verified Reviewer

I have 2 completely different dogs. #1 is a full-bred Shih Tzu, #2 is a mutt, combo of a father was imperial Shih Tzu, momma was a cross of teacup Chihuahua and Jack Russell, my girl named Lola of course! She is a great dog. Loves the new food as she is a severe chow hound that lives for food! The full-bred is another story, he's usually fussy, not food motivated, has had stones removed twice because of food being the wrong type is what the vet said. He's a rescue boy, both are approximately 8 years old. I haven't had my boy x-ray lately, the vet wants twice a year and bi-monthly pee tests to monitor the growth if any! He had been on the vets recommend prescription food, very expensive and stinky, he hates it, had to entice with cooked chicken! No more. He does like this new food and he has more energy as I can see in his playfulness, same for my Lola. Both dogs are doing great, hoping this can replace the just as expensive prescription stuff.

Thank you for creating this food for dogs.

Rescues much better.

By Cynthia H., Plano, TX, Verified Reviewer

I have 2 rescues; a 9-year-old Schnauzer and a 5-year-old Terrier mix. One always had loose stools and the other was always constipated - on the same food. Both are much better. Also, the Terrier is not shedding as much as she was.

My dogs love Dr. Marty's food!

By Cindy R., Idaho Falls, ID, Verified Reviewer

My pooches love this food. My Silky Terrier is a VERY PICKY eater and she loves the food. In fact, she likes it over her Greenie in the morning time. My Schnauzer loves it too. My only concern is our vet mentioned she didn't like feeding this to our animals due to the fact it is made from raw meat. She was concerned about Salmonella since it is a raw product. This was very disheartening to me. But my dogs love the product. I am torn as to whether I should reorder.

As good as it gets.

By Laura S., Winchester, VA, Verified Reviewer

I watched a video.

I had to try it. I wanted something better for my dog.

I could type all day about how great it is but I’ll stick to the basics.

My dog is an 8-year-old female Australian Cattle Dog American Staffordshire mix and she is loving life with this dog food.

My dog honestly enjoys her food. She is obsessed. The food provides energy that isn’t fake. She’s legitimately more focused and is less hungry during the day - the food sustains her longer.

Her coat is shinier, and her breath is better too.

I too thought about the price, but thought of the savings in the long run - you are preventing future health concerns by feeding your dog good quality food.

If my dog could have the chance to live longer healthier and happier, then to me the food is worth the cost.

It is backed by science, what dog food can provide a money-back guarantee?

My experience with customer service was amazing. So I chose to try it, and I’m not at all disappointed with the immediate results.

I could potentially save money on veterinarians, and future health concerns with my dog by purchasing this food - and it’s proven to be truly making my dog feel better, look better and act better.

I can say it’s worth it.

More energy

By Anthony A., New York, Verified Reviewer

Four-year-old lab that reacted to pesticide-based flea and tick medication with multiple seizures. Dr. Marty's dog food has helped him regain his spark and alertness. He digests the food very well and actively enjoys his meals.

Our rescue Japanese Chin loves her new food.

By Judith F., Texas, Verified Reviewer

We have had one picky eater with Rosie. Now she eats Dr. Marty's food and loves it finishes down to the last crumb. I think she is getting a bit more spunky. She is a happy 6-year-old pup. The only problem with the food is the cost. It is a bit expensive.
