I'm always looking for a healthy alternative when it comes to my dog's meals and treats. I've upgraded to the healthier, premium dry dog foods that do not contain grains. Out of curiosity, I decided to try Nature's Blend dehydrated raw dog food. Thinking that it was more expensive, I would try it as was suggested as a topper to his regular dry kibble, to make it stretch further, last longer.
My dog, Rojo, a rescue from Mexico, prefers his dry kibble moistened. At first, I used a little water. Then later, I started using an instant beef bone broth mix specially formulated for pets. When I started using Nature's Blend, I was re-hydrating it with water. Then it occurred to me to hydrate it with the broth.
Needless to say, Rojo loves his meals now and diligently lets me know when it's feeding time as if he has an internal clock. He loves the topping of Nature's Blend mix with the broth so much, that I am now thinking of portioning his food half and half, half kibble and half Nature's Blend and broth mix. Not that the broth is needed, but I feel it adds to the flavor. That's my own little twist.
When preparing Rojo's meal, I feel like I'm a gourmet chef, fixing up for him a delicacy. I'm very impressed with the addition of Nature's Blend to my pup's meals. As time goes by, I realize the value of feeding him a wholesome and nutritious meal. It gives me great satisfaction that I'm doing what I can to keep Rojo satisfied, healthy, spunky, and active. I've noticed that he has become more lively, attentive. Nothing else has changed. So, it must be the change in his diet.
Rojo also loves Tilly's Treats, I've been constantly looking for treats that I can give him with a clear conscience. I'm never sure of the other stuff that's out there. He just snaps them up and I know they're good for him. I'm sold on Dr. Marty's products and I'm sure Rojo is too.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
