Dog loves it

By Skip V., Gig Harbor, WA, Verified Reviewer

Our Maltese Shih Tzu mix, she never ate her food consistently. Sometimes one bowl in two days. Now she waits for her food at 7 pm every night and devours it. She seems to have more energy. Poops regularly. It's awesome.

NOW...if we could convince our cat to her Dr. Marty cat food we'd be thrilled.

Gave us our dog for many more years.

By Ken W., Blanchard, ID, Verified Reviewer

We have a 10-year-old male chihuahua that was diagnosed with spinal injuries by our local vet and the Washington State University Veterinarian school. They said that he would get to where we would have to put him to sleep soon. We found that with spinal massages and Arnica Montana that he was doing better but still having issues walking and getting around. He got overweight and that only increased the problems. We gave him Dr. Marty's freeze-dried food and saw immediate improvements. Now after two bags with one feeding per day supplemented with his weight-loss food diet, the old boy now acts years younger, walks and runs. The food has given us new health and a happy dog. We recommend it to everyone.

Hap, happ, happy pups!

By Shannon B., Baton Rouge, LA, Verified Reviewer

We use the food blend as a topper to their Dr. Marty-approved dry dog food (based on the no-go’s, and look-fors), most days-on rushes mornings they sure miss their treat! They always liked being fed, but now they get up-right excited when they get their raw topper.

One of them starts talking and spinning (Louisiana Leopard-spotted Catahoula). Can’t make this stuff up. I’m happy they’re happy. Their coats look good, poops look, well, healthy, and I’m glad I took a "chance". It’s pricey, so I’m glad we can mix it in so they can enjoy. Thanks, Doc.

Love it!

By Karen S., Florida, Verified Reviewer

Louie was eating Royal Canon Hydrolyzed Protein on recommendation from the vet. He didn't love it. I had to put some baked chicken in with it. Sometimes he'd just pick out the chicken. He's an almost 14-year-old Bichon Frise. Recently, we moved to my son's temporarily. He has 5 Chihuahuas. Louie just tolerated them.

When I got your food, I went slow mixing his food with a small amount of yours and gradually increased until now, he only gets about 2 tbs of his food, water, and Dr. Marty's food. He lives it every night and licks the bowl clean! He's started following around one of the other dogs and even plays with him! I'd say he seems healthier and happier! Thank you, Dr Marty! And thanks for the need letters! Love the information!

Nature's Blend

By Ann J., Columbus, IN, Verified Reviewer

Our dog is a rescue dog and is now about 8-9 years old. He has never really liked food. He weighs 10 lbs. Now he eats it all up instead of leaving it to sit most the day. I have not really noticed any behavior changes. He sleeps a lot.

Madden loved it!

By Debra W., Mint Hill, NC, Verified Reviewer

Our dog Madden loved Nature's Blend. We used a small amount on his food each evening to entice him to eat. You see, he lost his two sisters, Chardonnay in May and Tessa in June. They were 14 years old and had been with Madden for 10 years. After they died, he did not want to eat or play. He only wanted to lay on their pillow all day. So when Nature's Blend arrived, we began using it to entice him to eat. It really helped and he loved it. In August we moved to a new house and he again stopped eating. So we brought out the Nature's Blend and increased the amount we were giving him. It took a few days, but it won him over. Now, after three weeks, Madden is back to being Madden!

Loved it!

My Siberian Husky Renner LOVES your food! Right now I’m using it as a topper because it’s pricey. He’s only three years old and has tons of energy. As he gets older, my thoughts are to switch to using it as his main food.

Instant hit

By Barbara G., Pleasanton, CA, Verified Reviewer

Buster is a picky eater, easily bored with the same old thing. He's a healthy 9-year-old springer spaniel. Buster sniffed out something new immediately as the hot water reached the freeze-dried organ meats and they tantalized him with a growing stronger scent, "Announcing dinner is on!" He scared down the small starter bowl and came begging for more. After finishing off the second small bowl he was SOLD!

After 2 of 3 bags, Buster sniffed and walked away as usual. Disappointing. Reverted to old grains, with new food as a topper. That lasted a few days, and then total boredom set in.

I liked the convenience of freeze-dried food, and the fact that it smelled like real food, even human food.

We're halfway through bag #3 and the jury's out. I simmer chicken liver in a small amount of water, break that into big bite pieces and then pour the whole thing into a bowl of Dr. Marty and he gobbles it up. I'm concerned though that it could be too much of a good thing, adding chicken liver to the packaged food?

Hands down - a winner!

By Connie B., Ohio, Verified Reviewer

Hands down it's a winner! My 14-year-old black lab, Laci, has returned to Puppyland! She's been on a restricted low-fat diet for several years (has Cushing's) and, while always happy to eat, had settled into getting the same food over and over again. I purchased Nature's Blend after watching the infomercial Dr. Marty made. I didn't expect amazing results but got them!

Laci is very excited every time I pull the bag out of the cabinet. She nudges me while I'm putting it in her bowl. The 3-minute wait is a struggle for her but when I put the bowl down she practically inhales it. I love this response! Thank you very much for making this amazing dog food!

My "Lady" doesn't want to eat anything else

By Chrisc C., Oak Harbor, WA, Verified Reviewer

I purchased Dr. Marty's dog food to help my dog lose weight and to have a healthier happier life. She is 13 years old and not a very active dog. Needless to say, she is very overweight. I fed her only Dr. Marty's food for 2 weeks, then, due to cost, I cut it down to half Dr. Marty's and half her regular premium food. She ate it with no problem. She has lost 3 lbs so far and she has a little more energy. I ran out of Dr. M's food the day before the next bag arrived so I gave her the previous food, but she didn't eat it. I thought she was ill. The next morning Dr. Marty's food came in the mail so I tried straight Dr. Marty's food. She gobbled it up. So we will remain with Dr. Marty's. It really is not more expensive than any other dog food (premium dog food). I just usually include Lady's food in my grocery bill because the pet store and grocery store is in the same shopping complex. Also, since it is freeze-dried and you add water it goes further than you expect it to.

Excellent

By William S., Laurel, MD, Verified Reviewer

We are pleased with your product, although I think the price is high. I bet I'm not the first person to say that! I'm using it as a topper mainly because my wife had already purchased a large amount of Rudy's "regular" diet consisting of Purina Smart Blend canned food (Beef, Chicken, and Turkey/Chicken varieties), and Purina dry kibble, and she also cooks up pieces of whole chicken mixed with carrots, peas, and that sort of veggies. Routinely, in the morning, Rudy gets half a can of the Purina mixed with some dry Purina and a cup of your product mixed in which he loves. In the evening, he gets about a cup of Sandy's chicken-veggie mix with a small amount of Purina dry mix and a cup of your product. He loves this, too. He easts well, poops well usually during our hour-long walks through the woods next door to our home in a park-like setting. We have an acre in a country setting next door to a large woods along the Patuxent River, so he is able to run around outside chasing the squirrels and following their every move through our large oak trees. He remains safe with his electronic collar keeping him in our yard.

Rudy is a happy camper and so are we. We love our 60-70lb rescue Shephard mix originally from Georgia. He is 10 years old and he's been with us since he was two going on three. When he was about five, he was bitten by a Copperhead between his front toes. The following year, he got glaucoma and had to have his eyes removed. It broke my heart, but he survived and he never complains I'm his eyes although he gets around extremely well inside and outside. He is extremely bright and immediately reacts to my warnings about things that may get in his path. I really love this guy!
