Great product

By Shawn R., Oregon, Verified Reviewer

My dog loved it. He was a little upset that he would have to wait for it to soak for a bit, but worth the wait.

He seems to have more energy.

Didn't help much on his chewing himself but I think that's more of an arthritis problem being he only chews at his joints.

The product is a little spendy, especially for a 110 lbs dog so we use it as an additive to his regular food, but at 8 years old he is now more active and alert.

Good but not at 100% as of yet

By Judy K., Helendale, CA, Verified Reviewer

She's been so used to having cooked chicken ever since I've had her that she seems to EXPECT it still, so I'm finding that as long as I put even a little chicken in her bowl with the Nature's Blend, she will eat it all, if there's NO chicken in the bowl, she tends to leave it but eats it as a last resort when she gets hungry enough.

Amazing

By Yolanda W., Palmdale, CA, Verified Reviewer

I have 4 Bichon Frise’s. I bought Dr. Marty’s food to add to the existing food. I measure out their kibble and added Dr. Marty’s food to it. Their response was amazing. They loved it and when they see me reach for Dr. Marty’s bag, they jump up, spin around, and one of my dogs walks in his hind legs. They love the food.

Smooth transition

By Lisa C., Massachusetts, Verified Reviewer

My dog has a very sensitive stomach. We have been buying his food from the vet for years. I read about Dr. Marty’s and wanted to make sure that my dog is as healthy as possible so I bought some. We transitioned slowly, mixing the old and new together for several weeks until the old food was gone. Now we have just Dr. Marty’s and he is eating it and loving it. He is regular and his poops are more firm. I signed up for "subscribe and save," which will save us a lot. So far I am very happy with the product and feel good about it giving it to my dog.

My nearly 15-year-old Westie says "Yummy, woof, woof!"

By Philip A., Lancaster, PA, Verified Reviewer

We currently mix Marty's with Nipper's other food. We crush Marty's food and mix in water and pour it on top of his regular food. So how do I know he is thinking "yummy"? Well...he won't eat his food if Marty's is absent! His eating has been consistently good and his energy level seems a bit improved. He is pooping regularly. He prompts us to eat before it's time as he appears to be looking forward to chow time. I hope the continued use of Marty's Nature Blend will help our beloved Westie to thrive!

EXCELLENT food, just too expensive for us

By Bob D., North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

Oprah and Martha Stewart may be able to afford $35 per pound for dog food, but we sure can't. This food is outrageously expensive. Sadly our dog loves it, so we will probably continue to use a LITTLE of it, but we can't afford to pay more for our dog than we spend on ourselves! At these prices, we could feed her filet mignon which she'd probably also like a lot, too.

Helps my Rottweiler have more normal bathroom time.

By Breedheen O., Franktown, CO, Verified Reviewer

I can’t afford to put my Rottweiler, Baldur, in your food alone. I give him half a can of premium wet dog food, 4 cups of Blue Buffalo large breed kibble (it has freeze-dried bits in it too), then top it with your food, olive oil and add water. Before your food, Baldur had a cycle of loose stools every few days ("sad tummy" we call it). One month on your food and he’s only having "sad tummy" about once a week. I wish I could afford to give him a cup of your food a day. If I could afford that, I think sad tummy would be a thing of the past. I’m low income so even one bag a month is a bit of a hardship, but very worth it.

They can't wait

By Tammi B., Saginaw, MI, Verified Reviewer

My dogs love it. We use it as a topper. They get 1 cup a day that way. Shadow's stool is firmer. My husband even commented that they had calmed down a bit. I saw that too. All on one cup a day! I definitely will be ordering more! They probably won't eat without it. Thank you for making it healthy and affordable.

Best

By Heather H., Michigan, Verified Reviewer

My little Mollie girl loves your food. It's been a month since she's been eating it. I noticed a couple of weeks into it she's didn't want it anymore so it took a week or little more to get her interested again. It could be because she's just used to the food now and it's nothing new to her. I was wondering do some dogs have issues arise with their health having food like this? That their bodies aren't used to, like developing kidney stones or any other type of stones.

I have noticed that she has more energy. This time of year she gets a little itchy but I've noticed she doesn't itch much anymore since she's been on this food. And I don't have her on any anti-itchy medication either I feel good and at ease knowing that I'm given my little girl good quality food. I feed her twice a day six tablespoons each meal. sometimes she doesn't want to finish the whole meal so later in the day I'll offer the rest of it to her and she eventually finish it.

My little dog is a mixed breed, she's a small poodle, Pomeranian, Lhasa Apso mix. She weighs around 15 lb and she's going to be 12 this year. She takes the medication Keppra for seizures and Galliprant for pain. And antacid medication for her tummy.

I've adjusted my budget to be able to afford to feed my little girl the best. I hope I will be able to order your product for her forever.

Thank you so much, Doctor Marty, for developing quality food for my little.

Review Dr. Marty Nature's Blend

By Art R., Alabama, Verified Reviewer

We are on our 4th bag of Nature's Blend. I have a seven-year-old Goldendoodle and for the past couple of months, she has had symptoms of a little arthritis in her back left leg. She only shows signs of it when she has been sleeping and first gets up. She will limp for 3 or 4 steps and then she's back to normal with no symptoms at all. Her vet has her on Dasuquin and Vetprofen twice a day. I have noticed a marked improvement in her activity! She runs full speed in the yard and is very active! I definitely see signs of improvement!

Thank you!

Lacey’s Dr. Marty’s blend encounter

By Kimberly Q., Yorktown, VA, Verified Reviewer

Totally spoiled papillon. Won’t eat it as her main meal but loves it as a snack! Was near death due to overtreatment at an emergency vet, which put her into both heart and kidney failure. Lacey will be 13 next week. Your blend, along with her Rx, has made her look and feel 3 years old again. Thanks so much...
