Pros

  • Lower cost than many competitors

Cons

  • Little evidence of copper benefits in apparel
  • Customer reviews show quality concerns
  • Smaller copper percentage than many brands

A bunch of hassle

By Chad , Ogden, UT

I ordered one of the Copper Fit back braces and when I got on the phone call, they wanted to charge me 34 dollars after shipping when it was only $19.95 to begin with. I received the Copper Fit Back and the thing fell apart within a day and a half. I called them back and they said they would replace it but I had to pay an additional $12.50 shipping and handling. I wouldn't recommend any of this to anybody.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Way too long to receive

By Steve Funk ,

Takes WAY too long to ship. If they can't fill orders, then quit selling them. Said 2 to 6 weeks for delivery. When I called, they told me it will take 4 more weeks to receive. Don't order if you need this right away.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Good product; don't buy from Copper Fit

By K FG , Louisiana

While the product is good (we have purchased and liked the item), do NOT purchase it directly from Copper Fit.

We ordered two sets ($19.99/set), the shipping and handling was $32.00. Yes, you read that correctly, $32.00!

Kicker was that it took almost two months to get the items in. When they finally arrived, they were too small, so I had to return them – on my dime. How much did it cost me to mail it back to them and get there in four days -- $7!

Two weeks later, only the cost of the items was credited back to my account.

So, the product is fine, just DO NOT order directly from the company!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Back Pro Comment

By Len Weise , Erie, PA

I purchased the Back Pro for support. I was first disappointed when I tried to order it. Once I made the phone call, I was passed around too. It felt like a hundred vendors trying to sell me something else. I finally hung up not confirming my purchase. I received a call from someone telling me they were going to ship the belt to me and wanted to confirm my address. I told them to cancel it. They still shipped it and so I tried it out. I am really disappointed. It does nothing for support. It looks nice and folds up on me as I move. I got the right size. I guess I will suck it up but this will be the last time I order something like this.

Copper Fit helped me tremendously

By Karen , Flint, MI

A friend ordered the Copper Fit knee sleeve for me since I had recently undergone total knee replacement surgery. As a result of the surgery, my other knee and the new knee always swelled. With the new brace, they feel great and stop and swelling. I don't know if it's the compression or the copper, I really don't care. All I care about is it helps me tremendously by relieving the pain and swelling and it is better than the drug store ones. They are soft and thin, but offer a lot of support. They are a life saver for me. I love them and wear them almost every day.

My husband licks them

By Billie Patterson , Martinsville, IL

After reading everyone's remarks, it almost embarrasses me to put my review in.

My husband loves the socks! He had toes crushed almost five years ago and suffers from constant pain. He said they make his balance better. I didn't order online but got them at Dollar General and more at Walmart after he liked them so much.

They don't cost that much, two pairs for $10 as long as you get them at a store. It's pretty much like everything they sell through "As Seen on TV", never as good as you want them to be.

Sorry you all got scammed!

Where's the 86% copper?

By marie, san gabriel, ca, Verified Reviewer

I just bought the Copper Fit knee sleeve. On the package it states it's 86% copper. On the knee sleeve it states it's 4% copper with other fibers. I bought the sleeve so my knee wouldn't hurt so much when I walk up a 2 mile hill for work. I really don't feel much compression from the sleeve. Support hose has more compression.

Credit Card Fraud

By Julie, Portland, OR, Verified Reviewer

I had a bad feeling when I ordered Copper Fit but my son was desperate for help with a bad back so I went ahead. After a few days, I got a call from the company verifying my address. I asked if that meant they were shipping the product and was told they didn't know and that I'd have to "call the company". I never heard another word from the company, nor did I receive the product. After a couple of months, I looked online and saw that the product was out of stock and on back order.

Last week I received a call from the fraud division saying my debit card had been compromised and at the same time someone tried to make a $950 purchase (not me) the Copper Fit charge showed pending on my card. It never processed since the card was deactivated by the fraud division. I also find it odd that Copper Fit never contacted me to say my card payment was refused.

It seems in an effort to complete my purchase they would contact me for alternate payment. It all had a very bad feel about it and I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Skin irritation

By Leslee Leaf , Redondo Beach, CA

I wore the Copper Fit knee brace for a few hours and developed a deep rash around my entire leg. That was five days ago and I still have it! It hurts and itches. I returned the Copper Fit back to Bed, Bath & Beyond, where I purchased it and they told me to call the company. I looked up their web site but didn't find a phone number. Now I might be looking at an expensive bill from a doctor!

SCAM

By Duane , Lavonia, Ga

I ordered online over a month ago. Within three days, I received phone calls from Copper Fit trying to sell me all kinds of other stuff and offering me "FREE STUFF". They tried to get me to give my Credit card info to them again (OVER THE PHONE) to verify that I ordered it. They also wanted other personal info. I told them it sure sounded like SCAM and hung up. Either they sell your info to other companies or they are just bugging you. I haven't received the product either. If they are Legit then their customer service sucks.
