The company joined forces with acclaimed chef Jet Tila to create a purportedly pro-grade pan that offers an ideal union between nonstick technology and stainless steel for even heating and easy cleaning.

Features
Despite its name, the Copper Chef Titan Pan set is actually free of copper. Instead, it comes equipped with stainless steel and aluminum construction and nonstick coating.
The company claims that its aluminum layer conducts heat while the stainless steel helps to retain it.

The raised steel pattern on the top of the Copper Chef Titan Pans allows for optimal browning, while the recessed nonstick diamond particle coating allows for quick clean up.
Valued for being lightweight and an excellent heat conductor, aluminum is often incorporated into cookware. However, it’s prone to staining and turning food bitter unless blended with other materials.
Stainless steel is prized for use in cookware due to its durability, easy care, and rapid, uniform heating potential. On its own, it's not ideal for heat conduction, which is why steel is often blended with highly conductive metals like copper or aluminum.
While it’s usually dishwasher safe, stainless steel can be tougher to clean if it doesn't include a nonstick coating.
This diamond coating will purportedly heat up 15% faster than standard nonstick surfaces while working to distribute the heat to protect the nonstick surface.
It’s also considered to be more resistant to chipping and cracking than traditional nonstick pans.

Thanks to this specialty coating, the company claims that you will need only a minimal amount of butter or oil for your recipes, which can keep calorie counts down.
The pan can be hand-washed with non-abrasive materials or tossed in the dishwasher.
The pan can be used in the oven and on all kinds of stovetops, including gas, electric, induction, ceramic, convection, and even over open fires. However, it is only rated as heat-resistant up to 450° F (the glass lid is rated up to 350° F.)
Our Test of the Copper Chef Titan Pan
How does the Copper Chef Pan hold up in the real world? I started cooking to find out.
My Copper Chef set arrived looking gorgeous. The main pan was much heftier than expected, with a sturdy steel handle and beautiful etching across the cooking surface.
I washed it with soap (as instructed) before testing it out on a potato and kale skillet dish.
As this pan set boasts about its nonstick properties, I decided to trust it by using about a quarter of the cooking oil I would normally use. To my surprise, the potatoes cooked up like a dream.
The potatoes cooked up like a dream
They stayed firm and crispy on the outside while retaining fluffy interiors. I often struggle with sticking and burned bits when I cook potatoes in my cast iron pan, but the Copper Chef didn’t pose a similar problem.
The handle never overheated on the stovetop. I was able to grab it directly during the entire cooking session without feeling anything but mild warmness.
At the end of the cooking session, I cracked some eggs in the middle of the pan and set it in the oven at 450° F. The pan withstood the heat without issue and cooked the eggs quickly without any sticking—or the need for additional oil.
I used the included small pan simultaneously for zucchini, which turned out well seared without any sticking or the need for excess oil.
After this first test, I ran the pan set through the dishwasher without a problem, and cooked with it throughout the weekend, making many more dishes over several days.
It proved to be an ideal accessory for most of my recipes, but I was left with one complaint. After about three uses, the metal etching on the bottom of the main pan was starting to fade.
Was it getting cooked off and added to my food? Was I scraping too hard with my non-metal utensils? I wasn't treating this pan set any differently than I did my other dishes, but it was showing wear far faster.
This makes me question its quality and longevity, and I'm skeptical that it will last as long as my go-to cast iron pan.
For me, a pan that will last is worth the inconvenience of some occasional scrubbing to get clean, or the need to use slightly more cooking oil.

Popular Alternatives to the Copper Chef Titan Pan
Copper Chef Titan Pan set is the priciest option available, it also comes with the most accessories—two pans, two lids, a thermometer, recipe book, and steamer basket. If you plan to use each accessory, this makes it a better deal overall.
However, the Copper Chef Titan pan has the lowest customer rating on Amazon compared to the other three brands, with many customers complaining that the pan lost its coating quickly and didn't seem functionally different than other nonstick pans.
This matched my experience, as this pan set showed wear after just three uses.
It's also worth noting that the Copper Chef sets primary selling points aren’t necessarily unique compared to the competition. Many other pan sets are diamond-infused, oven-safe, and can be used in the dishwasher.
This means that these factors shouldn't be your primary reasons for choosing this set over any others.
The Bottom Line
Buying a pan set that will last you can be a challenge—especially if you want one that conducts heat evenly and has a nonstick surface.
Diamond-coated pans offer great potential for cookware that is durable and can withstand high heat, and the Copper Chef Titan Pan set promises to take these benefits further with a stainless steel/aluminum core.
However, my personal experience with this pan set makes me question these claims.
There’s no denying that the set cooks well both on the stovetop and the oven, but it started showing wear quickly, even when I was careful to use only wood or plastic utensils inside it.
I personally don’t love the idea of ingesting little bits of coating in my food and likely won’t continue using this set long-term.
Your experience may differ from mine, though.
If this style of cookware appeals to you, there are many other brands with products that offer the same cooking benefits.
I recommend shopping around and committing to a set that contains accessories that actually interest you so that you aren’t paying for pieces you won’t use.
