I ordered and paid for Clear tv antennae on Jun 3 of this year. First, the company sent me an email with some other name that they had given me telling me that I would receive my product in about two weeks [they were doing me a favor]. when it did not show up for those two weeks I got on customer status and learned that clear tv had shipped or attempted or pretended to ship with no clear address all they had was a street name and of course some name other than mine. well, I called them and was assured that the name and address was corrected and that I would receive my order in 7 days. when that did not happen I phoned and spoke w/a manager named Mike and learned that the name and address had to be "corrected" again and that he would just "ship you out another order and you should receive it by 3 July."
When that did not happen I phoned again and spoke w/a csr named Jeff [agent981 or something like that] who as very nasty, impatient, says I cannot cancel my order and that I could not get a refund w/out it having to go to some other department for approval. Jeff refused to allow me to speak w/a supervisor and more or less implied and/or told me I had to wait and take the order and be satisfied. Not in those words exactly. He was rude. I recall telling him that if he disliked his job that much, then he should not be there.
Well I called again on 8 of July and spoke w/someone named Anthony who was the direct opposite of jeff. Anthony [ I think his agent number was 54 or 45m]. who says that he would contact shipping and have them cancel my order and that I should receive my refund in the full amount by the 18 July. On 9 July I received email stating that my order was shipped same date. however, when I check shipping number w/ups indicates no such tracking number. Needless to say, I still do not have antennae or my refund. I will never use clear tv again and will share my experience w/any and everyone I know.
This has been one big negligent, irresponsible, and disrespectful experience. what a horrible way to treat a customer. someone who has already paid for their merchandise should get it. Should they not? I don't even know if I will get my refund. I don't want the darn antennae now. I will make do w/converter box. I just want to get my 45.93 back. I doubt if I will ever see the antennae. but I will use whatever legal recourse to get my money.
I do have every bit of correspondence to substantiate my experience.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
