City Lips

I like the consistency, low shine, and feeling of it on my lips. However, I am not sure it is doing any plumping. I use it nightly and any time I go out or feel the need for moisturization. I shared it with my mom and she liked it too but noticed no plumping, just a comforting feeling and gloss. Using it for two weeks, figured I would notice a difference for sure by now. Unfortunately, for the price, I could not recommend it to anyone. I am disappointed, I would like my money back.

This product has helped so very much in a few ways for me. My main purpose in trying this product is I seem to have an allergy-like response to other lip products from chapstick to lipstick, they leave my terribly dry lips, even more dry to the point of peeling. City Lips has stopped this reaction, moistens my very dry lips and gives the appearance of a more youthful lip. Also, I have a constant nerve sensation, causing me to bite the inside of my lower lip. City Lips is the first product to decrease this awful sensation. For that I am so very grateful. I wear this product even to bed as I notice in the morning a softer lip and thru the night I am not biting my lower lip, so I have less canker sores.

No complaints about the service. I like that I haven’t been email-bombed since my purchase! Big kudos on that. I like the product, but haven’t been using it long enough to honestly rate it. I hope it does work as advertised.

When I initially ordered City Lips I ordered one, and when an additional one popped up at a reduced price, I added it on. I assumed the shipping would be adjusted. It wasn't. I asked to have my shipping charges dropped as the amount went up to the free shipping price. They refused. I went ahead and tried it anyway because I was curious about the product. I like the way it plumps my lips the entire time it stays on. Often times it can stay on through eating my meal. I'd like to next try the city lips with color. Good product.

I haven’t yet noticed a significant change, but have only been using for about 7 days. To be honest, I’m certain my age plays a part in my results or lack of. 75-year-old lips are a real challenge for any product, but I will continue trying. Thin lips are not the problem, it’s the lines around them. Have never smoked but did overly bask in the sun in my younger years.

First off, I can’t believe I didn’t find city lips during the Minnesota winter! I’d all but given up on soft lips during the winter, even using Burt’s Bees lip balm all day and night. From the first day of using your clear gloss (and using it at night while I slept), it was an instant change to smoother and softer lips.

Super thrilled, and now waiting for further products to show up, as I’m excited to see what else you make that works this well.

You should know, I’ll likely be trying many colors and your matte formula...so keep making as many colors as possible! More transparent, wearable colors, please.

I am almost 76 years old and lips and chin are the area of my face which looks the worst. Lots of lines and wrinkles in that area. I had noticed that my upper lip was looking thinner for quite a while. The wrinkles in my lower lip were very deep and extended into the lip itself.

I've only been using for about a week and a half, but am very pleased. Hasn't made them perfect, but they are in much better shape. I've always had trouble with dry lips and twice a day has been wonderful.

I get fever blisters whenever my lips get dry, and I've had no fever blisters even try to break out since using City Lips. That is worth a lot to me. For sure I'll keep using this until my product is gone. I'll do an assessment then to see if I reorder. Right now I'm sure I'll be reordering.

I've never used a product that is as pricey as City Lips. Yes, I know it isn't that pricey to the younger gals, but it is to me. That being said, I just said, I'd probably reorder.

Smoothness is improved, and I'm hoping that the wrinkles will even out with continued use.

And as a former consumer attorney who specializes in going after companies that deceived consumers with false claims, I’m very careful to praise a product only after personally experiencing its purported benefits. I’m happy to report that I’m in love with the City Lips plumper. My lips feel moist and have more definition. Lipstick color goes on more smoothly and enhanced my loos. I'm so impressed with the product that I’ve already ordered two more tubes. I also love the blog and all the helpful tips I’ve learned.
